Arrowhead Pride on Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes motivated by bragging rights and personal competition in division rivalry games.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes values the competitive bragging rights aspect of division rivalry games, particularly against individual opponents like Maxx Crosby. Mahomes explained the motivation: "It's almost like whenever you're young, and you're competing with one of your friends. You want to win because you kind of have those bragging rights. You kind of go into the offseason, and if you see the guy, you can kind of give him a little something here and there." This reflects his approach to high-stakes divisional matchups.
