Hogs Haven on Marcus Mariota

Mariota's 181 yards, 3 TDs vs. elite Seahawks defense signals strong backup readiness.

Mariota was outstanding in Week 3 versus Seattle, throwing for 181 yards and three touchdowns with no turnovers. If Daniels can't go, Mariota will make his second straight start and 10th start for Washington over the past two seasons. He executed well against the Seahawks' best-in-NFL defense under Mike Macdonald, with coordinator David Blough's play design and Mariota's audible calls ('Shula, Shula' and 'Gruden, Gruden') hitting on both attempts.
