Positive signalProjection

Love's 109-yard game vs. 49ers sets up potential 100-yard performance against weak Giants run defense.

Love, the third overall pick in this year's draft, is trending in the right direction for the Cardinals. After being held to 70 yards on 20 carries in the first two games, he racked up 109 yards from scrimmage on Sunday against the 49ers, averaging 4.3 yards per carry and catching five passes. The Giants' 12th-ranked run defense has not given up a 100-yard rusher this season, and Love may make a bid to be the first.
