Yahoo Sports NFL on James Cook

Cook leads NFL in yards per carry at 6.0 with 71% snap share; heavy workload raises durability concerns.

Cook has been electric this season, leading the NFL in yards per carry with 6.0 yards per tote through three games. He's playing on 71% of Buffalo's offensive snaps and has totaled 62 touches through three games, giving him a heavy workload. The source notes that while Cook's production is phenomenal, the Bills should consider using a capable change-of-pace back to prevent burnout, as heavy workloads at the running back position often lead to injury.
