Mariota's 19/31, 183 yards, 3 TDs vs. Seattle shows capable backup play.

Marcus Mariota showed in Week 3 that he's more than just a capable backup, completing 19 of 31 passes for 183 yards and three scores while adding five carries for 11 yards on the ground; the source notes Mariota is savvy enough to guide the Commanders to points on the board and didn't look too bad in his start against Seattle, a team that has been dominant on the road under Mike Macdonald.
