Arrowhead Pride on Kirk Cousins

Cousins' 2.58-second release time ranks seventh-fastest; shields Raiders from sacks.

Raiders QB Kirk Cousins has the seventh-fastest time to throw in the NFL through Week 3 at 2.58 seconds, a key factor in Las Vegas's offensive success and defensive resilience. The Raiders have allowed only five sacks through three games while ranking tied for the NFL lead with nine passing touchdowns. Cousins' quick release is a primary reason the Chiefs' pass rush has struggled to generate pressure, making him a difficult assignment for Kansas City's defensive line in Week 4.
