Positive signalRole

Watson's steady play has secured the Browns' starting QB role and silenced replacement speculation.

Named starter by head coach Todd Monken; has stabilized the Browns' QB position after an inconsistent start, helping the team to a three-game winning streak and the top of the AFC North standings. While not consistently excellent, Watson has been 'good enough' to quiet weekly starter questions.
