Herbert rebounds in second half with 153 yards, TD; shines in crunch-time comeback

Herbert threw for less than 40 yards in a horrid first half but bounced back in the final two quarters, throwing for 153 yards and a touchdown to Kimani Vidal. He looked like the Herbert expected entering the season once McDaniel stopped getting cute with play calls and let him drop back and let it rip. Herbert made the play of the game on fourth-and-seven, flushed from the pocket rolling right, firing a moonshot to Johnston who came down with the ball despite having his legs taken out from under him. He also completed a 21-yard pass to Harris on third down to halt the clock during the late-game comeback.
