Cat Scratch Reader on Tetairoa McMillan

McMillan dominated with 147 first-half yards and multiple TDs despite defensive focus.

McMillan dominated the game with 147 receiving yards in the first half alone, with Bryce Young repeatedly targeting him on RPOs, bubble screens, and deep shots. Young 'spammed McMillan all the way into field goal range' late in the second quarter, and McMillan caught touchdowns on a 32-yard deep ball, a slant to the middle, and a toe-drag catch on 3rd and 14 in the fourth quarter. Despite Jalen Coker's absence creating extra defensive attention, McMillan rose to the occasion with multiple first-down conversions and game-winning plays.
