Big Cat Country on Parker Washington

Washington held to one catch after 15 receptions, 221 yards, 2 TDs in first three games

Washington entered the Cincinnati game as the Jaguars' leading receiver but finished with just one catch, effectively disappearing from the box score. Through the first three games, he had established himself as Lawrence's most productive receiver with 15 catches for 221 yards and two touchdowns. The source suggests this could have been due to Bengals gameplanning or an off-day, but Jacksonville's offense is constructed so that it can move on when one receiver is neutralized, with other options like Strange, Meyers, and Thomas Jr. stepping up.
