Worthy becomes lead target with Thornton and Rice injured; Mahomes confident in him.

With Tyquan Thornton's ankle injury and Rashee Rice's hamstring injury both occurring in Week 4, Worthy became the lone major target on the field, securing 4/70 on seven targets. Patrick Mahomes expressed confidence in Worthy, stating "He's getting open and he's getting himself in position to make plays ... I have a ton of confidence in him, and I think if we can continue to get him going, it'll open up the offense even more." While the Chiefs may spread production to Kenneth Walker and Travis Kelce, and could trade for a wideout at the deadline, Worthy is the easiest in-house solution and should flirt with WR3 value if Rice isn't playing.
