ArticleTight End Paradox: Can the Falcons unlock Kyle Pitts in 2026?
From the article
only about 17 percent of the Browns' passes in those two years went to running backs, compared with 24 percent for the Falcons this year...Against the Packers, Bijan was targeted only twice, suggesting that much of his pass-game production is owed to two games of dysfunctional quarterbacking by Cooper Rush.

Robinson's 24% RB target share inflated by Cooper Rush; should decline with Penix.
Robinson is funneling targets away from tight ends in the Falcons offense; the team targets running backs on 24% of passes compared to only 17% for the Browns during Amari Cooper's tenure under Stefanski. Against Green Bay, Robinson was targeted only twice, suggesting much of his early-season pass-game production came from two games of dysfunctional quarterbacking by Cooper Rush. With Michael Penix back at the helm, the offense should be less reliant on checkdowns and screens to Robinson, opening more opportunities for tight ends.
