Niners Nation on Brock Purdy

Purdy improved in second half with better looks; Shanahan praised his execution.

Purdy improved significantly in the second half of the Week 4 win over Denver, benefiting from better play-calling and cleaner looks. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Purdy "had some better looks. Didn't get any tipped balls. I think he had better looks and was awesome there." Shanahan joked that he told Purdy "Don't throw any more incompletions" and "he listened," suggesting Purdy's execution improved markedly in the latter stages of the game.
