From the article

In the first half, he completed less than half his passes and did not break 40 passing yards. Herbert began the game with an ugly interception where he targeted tight end Oronde Gadsden over the middle. Then there was the second interception. This one looked even more concerning. It was on a double slant concept and Herbert was looking to hit Ladd McConkey on the second slant. The thing is, linebacker Ernest Jones dropped back into the window of the slants and even with him sitting squarely in the passing window, Herbert threw it anyway. Herbert now has six interceptions in four games played this season.

STACKED’s take

Negative signalProjection

Herbert's 6 INTs in 4 games and poor first-half decision-making raise consistency concerns.

Herbert's first-half performance was alarming: less than 50% completion rate, under 40 passing yards, and two interceptions. His first INT to Oronde Gadsden over the middle was concerning despite some line-of-sight obstruction; his second INT on a double slant to Ladd McConkey was worse—linebacker Ernest Jones sat squarely in the passing window and Herbert threw it anyway. Herbert now has six interceptions in four games played this season.
