the much-maligned fourth-and-1 call to Craig Reynolds was doomed to fail no matter which back was behind center, as Brandon Coleman missed a key block.

Reynolds' fourth-and-1 failure due to Coleman's missed block, not his execution.

Running back Craig Reynolds was part of a fourth-and-1 call that was doomed to fail due to a missed block by Brandon Coleman rather than Reynolds' execution. Reynolds had limited rushing attempts (part of the combined 14 attempts by Croskey-Merritt, Reynolds, and Kaytron Allen) and was not the primary issue on the failed short-yardage play.
