Ekeler and White both boast better yards per carry averages, coming in at 7.3 yards and 4.5 yards, respectively. However, their combined rushing attempts are half of Bill's total, and they haven't had a chance to experience the negative runs that happen running behind the current offensive line.

Allen limited in carries, hasn't faced full brunt of poor offensive line.

Running back Kaytron Allen was part of the Commanders' struggling rushing attack, combining with Bill Croskey-Merritt and Craig Reynolds for 14 rushing attempts. Allen has not received significant carries relative to Croskey-Merritt and has not experienced the negative runs that occur behind the current offensive line, which allowed running backs to be hit at or behind the line of scrimmage on 53% of their runs heading into Week 4.
