Since joining the Rams, Stafford hasn't been one to check down or target his running backs, just 11.9%. This year that number is up to 20.4%. To that point, Corum has again lost ground in the snap count. If the Rams offense is going to settle in at 50 pass attempts per game, his dropping check down passes will keep him limited.

Negative signalRole

Corum's snap share declining despite Stafford's increased checkdown rate.

Corum played only 13 snaps (15% of offensive plays) and has lost ground in snap count since joining the Rams. The source notes that while Stafford's checkdown rate to running backs has increased from 11.9% to 20.4% this year, if the Rams offense continues to average 50 pass attempts per game, Corum's limited role will persist.
