Pats Pulpit on Kyle Williams

Williams has value and skillset but fits Patriots' pattern of failed WR development.

Kyle Williams got two targets in Week 4 and the source doesn't want to pull the plug on him yet, noting he still has value and a skillset that could make him a strong contributor. However, the source expresses frustration with the Patriots' historical inability to develop early-round receivers, suggesting Williams may follow the pattern of failed Patriots WR picks like N'Keal Harry, Tyquan Thornton, and Ja'Lynn Polk rather than successes like Deion Branch.
