Yahoo Sports NFL on Terrance Ferguson

Ferguson's IR placement opens opportunities for Parkinson and rookie Klare at tight end.

Terrance Ferguson was placed on injured reserve because of his medial ankle sprain. Ferguson had emerged as an important part of the passing game early this season, so his absence creates another opportunity for Colby Parkinson and rookie Max Klare to take on increased responsibilities. Ferguson is expected to return later this season rather than miss the entire year.
