Ravens signed veteran Jonathan Ward on Sunday after he beat out D'Ernest Johnson and Jared Chisari in a workout competition. Ward is a five-year veteran with 32 games for Arizona, two years with Tennessee, four games with Pittsburgh in 2024, and prior Ravens practice squad experience. He has 22 career rushing attempts for 91 yards plus 52 receiving yards and a touchdown. The signing likely signals the Ravens expect Rasheen Ali to miss additional time due to his practice injury, positioning Ward as a candidate for preseason snaps alongside undrafted rookies in the backfield rotation.
