A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury2:30

AJ Brown is expected to miss at least six weeks due to a severe high ankle sprain. Dr. Deepak Chona notes that even upon return, a four to six-week period of reduced production is expected, with significant re-injury risk during that window.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeInjury6:54

Brock Bowers is dealing with a meniscus trim. While his camp hopes for a Week 2 return, Dr. Deepak Chona suggests Week 3 is more likely. Long-term, there is concern regarding the knee's structural integrity, as it may involve the same knee that had a PCL injury last year, potentially leading to a shorter prime.

Insight page

Carson Wentz

NegativeValue17:12

Tara Roberts identifies Carson Wentz as a potential add in superflex leagues to cover for injured quarterbacks, noting he looked decent in the second half of his game.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeUsage25:38

Chris Rodriguez split snaps with Tank Bigsby (23 snaps for Rodriguez vs 28 for Bigsby) and ran more routes (12 vs 10), indicating a near 50-50 committee in Jacksonville.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeValue29:14

Colston Loveland was non-existent in the box score, but Fantasy Pros. I'm suggests he is a buy-low candidate as he was on the field and missed on his only wide-open target.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue23:44

Tara Roberts moved D'Andre Swift up in her rankings, citing Chicago's run-heavy scheme. She views him as a high-value pick from the mid-rounds with RB2 floor and RB1 upside.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeUsage22:02

Dalton Kincaid saw minimal involvement in the offense, with Fantasy Pros. I'm warning fantasy managers to be cautious about chasing his production.

Insight page
NegativeBust31:32

Tara Roberts plans to include Dalton Kincaid in a 'sell' list. Despite a big Week 1, she remains concerned about his injury history and the likelihood that his high target volume will fluctuate based on game script and other receivers like Khalil Shakir.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveUsage28:38

Tara Roberts apologizes for her skepticism regarding David Montgomery, who dominated goal-line work with 20 carries. He significantly overperformed her expectations for a safe start.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeUsage37:30

Devon Achane's struggles were attributed to the Dolphins' offensive line issues rather than his own talent or the quarterback's play.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeProjection32:17

Fantasy Pros. I'm expresses doubt about Deshaun Watson's long-term viability as a starter, suggesting a quarterback switch to Shedeur Sanders may be necessary for the offense's success.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeUsage44:03

Despite a disappointing Week 1 (six targets, three catches, 53 yards) following A.J. Brown's absence, FantasyPros advises against panic, noting that the Eagles' offense remains committed to Saquon Barkley and spreading the ball around.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection35:41

Despite a quiet Week 1, Fantasy Pros. I'm is not panicking on Ja'Marr Chase, noting the team won and he was dealing with an injury.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveUsage27:30

Tara Roberts notes Jahmyr Gibbs had a massive day in terms of volume, pushing 30 carries and 150 yards, proving he can handle a heavy workload even without David Montgomery.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveUsage42:37

Jalen Coker is emerging as a significant target earner in the offense, and his usage is closer to the primary receivers than previously expected.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout43:51

FantasyPros suggests considering Jalen Coker as he is being pushed up the depth chart and looked great in his recent performance.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

NegativeUsage32:51

Deshaun Watson shows a clear preference for Jerry Jeudy, which should continue to drive his usage in the Cleveland offense.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection25:52

Tara Roberts highlights Jonathan Taylor's encouraging Week 1 performance, noting his involvement in the passing game as a checkdown option. She expects this production to continue.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeUsage38:46

Jonathan Brooks is being slow-rolled by the Panthers, and he is not currently a startable RB2 while Chuba Hubbard is playing well.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection26:16

The Chargers' offense underperformed significantly against the Cardinals, leading to concerns about the team's outlook and a potential 'reckoning' for Justin Herbert's fantasy value.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveProjection50:04

FantasyPros recommends starting Jawan Johnson over Kyle Pitts in non-PPR, touchdown-heavy leagues until the Atlanta quarterback situation stabilizes.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

NegativeUsage48:24

FantasyPros suggests Khalif Raymond could be a 'thorn in the side' of top Bears weapons after an eight-catch, 84-yard performance, though he is not a priority waiver wire add in typical leagues.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeUsage47:44

FantasyPros notes that Kenny Gainwell's usage was mediocre (five carries, one catch) and he lacks standalone fantasy value, especially with Bucky Irving expected to handle goal-line duties.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection30:30

Kyle Pitts' lack of production is excused by the team's quarterback situation, specifically the reliance on Cooper Rush who had limited practice time.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeInjury15:15

Kyler Murray suffered a concussion. Dr. Deepak Chona states the average recovery time is eight to nine days, meaning he will likely miss Week 2 and return for Week 3.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeInjury19:09

Ladd McConkey suffered a chest/rib injury. Dr. Deepak Chona notes that if it is a rib fracture, he could be out two to three weeks, though he hopes it is only a contusion that would allow for a quicker return.

Insight page
PositiveUsage27:04

Ladd McConkey had a wonderful day and was the primary target earner for the Chargers before leaving the game.

Insight page

Mack Hollins

PositiveValue5:23

Tara Roberts advocates for adding Mac Hollins as a flex option in deeper leagues following the AJ Brown injury. With Keishon Boutte gone, Hollins is expected to see a higher, more consistent snap count in the Patriots' thinned-out receiving corps.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeProjection40:41

Marvin Harrison Jr. is a hold, not a drop, despite a poor Week 1 performance, as the team's quarterback situation and game script were factors.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveUsage9:12

Tara Roberts suggests adding Michael Mayer as a pivot following the Brock Bowers injury. Mayer saw seven targets in Week 1, and while yardage was low, the volume was encouraging for a player who should see more opportunities when the team plays from behind.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout25:20

Parker Washington looked like the best wide receiver on the Jaguars, showing great effort on a touchdown catch and out-snapping other receivers.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeUsage26:40

Quentin Johnston failed to produce in the new Chargers offense, failing to secure the expected downfield targets.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeRole5:13

Tara Roberts expresses skepticism regarding Romeo Doubs, citing his history of drop problems and inconsistency. While he will likely get more opportunities, he is not currently viewed as a reliable replacement for AJ Brown.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury16:11

Sam Darnold is dealing with a glute injury that is severe enough to require multiple medical opinions. Dr. Deepak Chona expects a multi-week absence and notes that an IR stint is possible.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeUsage24:17

Tank Bigsby recorded 15 carries for 66 yards and one reception, but the backfield remains a split with Chris Rodriguez, who saw significant work in the first half and red zone.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeMatchup35:49

Terry McLaurin's poor performance was likely due to a tough matchup against Quentin Mitchell and the Philadelphia secondary rather than a long-term decline.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeUsage34:24

Tony Pollard remains in a split backfield with Tyjae Spears, making him a risky flex option given the team's overall offensive struggles.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeUsage45:31

FantasyPros expresses significant concern regarding Travis Etienne's usage, specifically citing the highly concerning ground-game split in Week 1.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury11:27

Zay Flowers suffered a hamstring re-aggravation. Dr. Deepak Chona notes that re-aggravations typically require three to five weeks of recovery, and the team is unlikely to rush him back, suggesting at least a couple of weeks of absence.

0:05Grainger, for the ones who get it done. What is going on everybody?
0:09Welcome to another season. It's the 2026 edition of the Sunday Recap with Fantasy Pros.
0:14I'm your host Scott Bogman, joined by Tara Roberts and Dr.
0:17Deepak Chona. Tara, first Sunday of the year, got it under your belt.
0:22I know you were disgusted before we were live here with your Packers, but how did your fantasy week go for you here?
0:29Great fantasy week, great DFS week. Was really hoping that we could get this Washington to overtime, but overall good.
0:36Scott Fishbowl team with Chris Olave, Tyler Shuckstack is like the nastiest combination that ever existed.
0:41Fun. Speaking of disgusting, that looked real bad in the first half.
0:45Yeah. Here we are. Here we are. Dr. Deepak Chona here to tell us about the injuries today.
0:51How was your first Sunday of the year, my friend?
0:54I pretty much ride or die with the Texans, so that pretty much tells you the story, but I did like CJ Stroud.
1:02He looked pretty good. He did. Yeah, he did look good.
1:05The defense. The defense. What was happening there? I can't believe it.
1:09Yeah, I didn't see much from him. I was very, very surprised, but we'll see if it's week one.
1:15Uh, well, of course we are going to go over the injuries while we have Dr.
1:21Deepak Chona here. We're going to give you the storylines with myself and Tara.
1:25We're going to look at the panic meter, see who we are actually panicking on after week one and give you guys
1:33some time to ask us some questions at the end.
1:36We're trying to get this all done before Sunday night football kicks off.
1:40So let's get to the injuries to start here.
1:43And we had a decent amount in week one, not as bad as it could be, but, uh, you know, just to
1:50start here, AJ Brown, obviously on the Wednesday game goes down with the ankle injury, uh, Brock Bowers before the season starts,
1:58which, Oh, this one made me sick. The meniscus trim Sam Donald with the glute injury.
2:03We're calling it now. We thought it might've been a really rough, uh, hip injury here, but it looks like it's a glute injury.
2:11Uh, Zay flowers was tearing it up in the first half against the Colts before leaving with a hamstring injury.
2:17Kyler Murray left with a concussion injury as well.
2:20So, uh, Deepak let's start, let's start with AJ Brown, I guess.
2:24Um, what are your thoughts on this ankle injury?
2:27And it looks like he's going to be out at least a month.
2:31Is that right? Yeah, they're already reporting that this is going to take at least six weeks.
2:37And given that timeline, uh, straight from the jump, we can kind of assume this is a severe high ankle.
2:43That's not good news for even when he does return, even if it takes that six weeks, which is pretty reasonable expectation.
2:51That typically causes a four to six week, pretty serious production hit as well.
2:55And during that window, that's when you're worried about re-injury.
2:59So there's a lot of kind of variables to consider here.
3:02I would say you're probably not getting much trade value for an AJ Brown, but, uh, this is pretty bad news all around.
3:10Tara, who do you pivot to if AJ Brown is out?
3:13Cause Romeo Dobbs look like garbage. Uh, Mac Hollins is on the field more.
3:18Uh, is there anyone in new England that you feel good about picking up with AJ Brown?
3:23Yeah, I am going to advocate for Mac Hollins.
3:26I mean, uh, Romeo Dobbs, what they paid for him.
3:30They're not going to ice him out completely. He'll get another opportunity.
3:34But at the end of the day, he has had dropped problems before.
3:38This is not a new issue in consistency. So if you're looking to waivers and thinking like, let me try and capitalize.
3:45Cause I've seen a lot of like people saying it might be Kyle Williams time.
3:50No, I genuinely think we're going back to what we had last year where we'll have Mac Hollins.
3:56But now that we don't have Keishon booty, a thinned out receiving core, it'll allow for a higher consistent snap count.
4:03And I do think that's the one that you want for a flex option in deeper leagues.
4:08But at the end of the day for more shallow leagues, you might want to look elsewhere.
4:14And Deepak with Brock Bowers being down, uh, you know, mayor looked okay, but, uh, how, how long are we going to
4:21expect Brock Bowers to miss here with this meniscus trim?
4:25You know, so they, they've come out and said that mostly driven from his camp.
4:29They're saying he's hoping to come back week two, potentially.
4:33Uh, the data says that's a little optimistic. Certainly has been done.
4:37Uh, however, more likely would be week three here.
4:40Uh, typically does take about four weeks. So he'd be already kind of pushing up the timeline a bit.
4:46Uh, and then when he does come back, the return to kind of pre-injury production level is pretty quick.
4:52Usually takes just about two games to ramp up.
4:55The real concern here is not so much the short term in my eyes, but the longterm there, this is potentially the
5:02same knee that had the PCL from last year.
5:05And then now he has some damage to the shock absorber and they basically go in and trim that.
5:11So you can imagine your left with less shock absorber in that knee going forward.
5:16And therefore it does, uh, tend to be associated with shorter primes and more, uh, missed games due to injury, uh, down
5:24the road in this type of setting. So longterm, a little bit of concern.
5:28You hate to see that. Oh man, that's re this really stinks for me.
5:33I have Bowers everywhere. Tara, how, after week one, is there someone that you're looking at adding?
5:38Maybe I guess Sikhi had a big week, obviously, uh, Kincaid did, but he's owned everywhere.
5:44Fryman scored a touchdown. Sadiq scored a touchdown. Anyone that jumps off the page at you?
5:49Yeah. You know, I think you might just want to try and roll the dice with Michael Mayer.
5:55Uh, we did see decent volume out of him, seven targets.
5:58It wasn't super productive in terms of yardage 32 yards, but, um, that was the case for all of the receiving options really.
6:06So it might just been one of those games where it was a big gente game in other situations where they're playing
6:13from behind what should happen a lot more. We can see them push the ball a little bit more.
6:19So I was encouraged to see that level of usage from him right off the bat.
6:25So that if you have to make a pivot, that would probably be the direction that I would go.
6:31I think the Sikhi thing, we might want to watch the Sikhi thing.
6:35Cause maybe that's a, that might be a Tampa Bay matchup thing.
6:39So maybe that's a tight ends against Tampa Bay thing to watch out for.
6:44I don't think that that's going to be consistent.
6:47Very, very well could be, um, Deepak. Let's talk about Zay going down Zay flowers with the hamstring injury.
6:53Um, he was really, really tearing it up, uh, at the beginning of this game here and, uh, pulled his hamstring.
7:00Do we know how long this is going to be or typical of these injuries?
7:05Yeah. So consider that this is a re aggravation of an injury he's been dealing with since probably August.
7:11It looks like he was limited on the practice.
7:14Reports to start this week and then kind of ramped his way to full, uh, with that being said, you know, re
7:21aggravations typically take longer than the initial injury. So initial injury would average about two weeks, uh, with re aggravations.
7:28You're usually looking at three to five. It's unclear, like to what degree the severity is on this hamstring.
7:34So we just have to watch for that, but you'd have to imagine they want this player with them in the home stretch.
7:41So they may not be eager to rush him back.
7:45I would expect at least a couple of weeks out.
7:48Uh, Tara, in the meantime, are you looking to pick up anyone on the Ravens or is there someone else that caught your eye this week?
7:57Oh, I love me some Jacoby, uh, Jacoby, at least so many Jacobis now Jacoby lane.
8:02Yeah. Bursette Myers. Jeez. Um, Jacoby lane, um, was very pro Jacoby lane.
8:06I'm very encouraged by what we saw from him this week because the stats aren't going to pop out to you.
8:13He had a touchdown was called back from a hold on the offensive line.
8:18Um, he had multiple targets from Lamar Jackson in the red zone.
8:22I think he has separated himself from Rashad Bay.
8:24It's early, right? But based off what I've seen, it looks like Lamar does have that initial trust with him.
8:31And that's excellent to see in a rookie. They're very different players.
8:35So this will not be a one for one replacement in terms of him being able to step in and fulfill Zay
8:42Flowers, but hopefully a volume shift in terms of more towards him.
8:46So that one, regardless of the Zay Flowers situation is one that I was already looking at and seeing as a rookie that isn't a promising offense.
8:55Lamar Jackson looked on fire. That's one that I would make the investment into.
9:00Derek. And I got Derek Henry and at least one week this week with his three scores, uh, Deepak, the two quarterbacks
9:07that went down, uh, Sam Darnold with the glute Kyler Murray with the concussion.
9:11What are the varying degrees of, uh, missed time on these?
9:15Yeah. Kyler Murray doesn't have a substantial concussion history that we know of.
9:19So the average time is going to be about nine days, eight to nine.
9:24So most players do miss one week, uh, about a third are able to come back without missing any time.
9:30So in most cases he would miss week two and come back week three with regard to Sam Darnold.
9:37The question is a little bit atypical of an injury based on the reporting.
9:41He's now getting a fourth opinion. So getting that many opinions suggests to me that this is on the higher end of
9:49severity and he's kind of considering what routes in terms of usually probably surgical or non-surgical he can really go.
9:55Uh, my guess is this is a multi-week absence.
9:58They have basically ruled him out for week two, at least informally.
10:02And I would be pretty surprised if he came back week three, but I also wouldn't be surprised here if this ends up on the IR.
10:10Hmm. So which quarterbacks terror are we looking to pick up in the meantime?
10:15I mean, uh, Wentz didn't look bad in the second half at least.
10:19So, uh, but that seems like it's not a long absence.
10:23Brissette looked okay. Speaking of Jacobi's anybody else, uh, off the top of your mind, uh, are you adding for these injured quarterbacks maybe in a super flex?
10:32Yeah, it's tough because I, I, in one QB, I know.
10:36Yeah. We wouldn't really be messing around, but in super flex in terms of who you would be able to turn to,
10:43I do think it would have to be Carson Wentz as the only ad, or you could just do the direct one for one with true lock.
10:52Hmm. Ah, injuries. We love it to start the season here.
10:55Uh, Deepak, a couple other ones, just if you have any thoughts on that, we didn't get to the graphic.
11:02Uh, Ladd McConkie left, looked like he got hit in the back and then they called that a chest injury.
11:09With the ankle, you know, um, to a left BTJ left with a shoulder and return.
11:14Are any of these looking like long-term concerning injuries to you?
11:17It's triveling. I think you can say certainly is it's a, uh, deltoid sprain.
11:22So it's basically a variant of ankle sprain. We don't see that often.
11:26It's about, they're saying about a month out. And with that in mind, uh, that, that typically will carry some lingering hit
11:34when he comes back, not as severe as what we were kind of talking about with AJ Brown, but, uh, but somewhere in between there.
11:42So with that being said, that's the one I'd worry about the most McConkie, it looked like he was holding his hip when he went down.
11:50He got took a big hit to the kind of lower back area.
11:55And them calling it a chest makes me almost wonder like, did he, are they talking about a rib potential injury?
12:01He didn't come back as far as I'm aware.
12:04And that the concern would be if he has a rib fracture, then he's probably not coming back immediately.
12:11Uh, with that average would be two to three weeks out.
12:14But my hope is that it's not that severe.
12:17And if he avoided fracture, it could just be a big hit contusion, bruising type thing.
12:22And more of a, like a pain control issue that he could come back from structurally without a problem.
12:29Yeah, bad day for the chargers for sure here.
12:32A good day for the Niners outside of the stripling stuff on Thursday.
12:36So, uh, but Deepak, thank you so much for joining us and filling us in on all these injuries.
12:42And we are sending you away to get back to saving people.
12:46So appreciate you, uh, joining us here, sir. And we will see you next week.
12:51Uh, we are going to get to the storylines, Tara and I, uh, right after this ad for Sharp AI.
12:58Before we get to the storylines, let me remind you guys that football is back folks.
13:03And it's time to level up your approach to the NFL and college football this season because Polymarket is here.
13:09Polymarket is a legal prediction market now available in all 50 States.
13:13And unlike traditional sports books on Polymarket, you can trade on all things football from the Saturday and Sunday slates to who
13:21wins the Heisman to who performs the halftime show.
13:23Polymarket gives you freedom to cash out instantly. If the momentum swings, you sell it off in real time.
13:30You are in control. No one can lock you out and you can also buy in any times when the market dips.
13:37Like if a team starts slow drops to say 40%, that's not a loss.
13:42That's when you buy in at Polymarket. You can buy cheap and ride the momentum back up.
13:47Polymarket is so confident. You'll never go back to the old way.
13:51They're issuing a challenge. They are giving you $50, a $50 bonus.
13:55When you deposit just $10, sign up right now with promo code F P pod.
14:00That's polymarket.us and use promo code F P pod pod to get a $50 bonus.
14:05When you deposit just $10. All right, Mrs. Tara Roberts, we are going to talk about the storylines.
14:11What do you have for number one here? And I don't know how I messed this up.
14:16Here we go. I got it. I got it.
14:19I'm fixing it. There we go. What is number one on the storylines here?
14:24Storyline number one is Swift and JT. The touchdowns were absolutely flowing from both of them.
14:29The first one that I want to talk about, though, is going to be DeAndre Swift because I moved him up a lot in rankings.
14:37You know, we were drafting him towards the mid kind of like around RB 18 area.
14:43I moved him up this week because really like the matchup for one.
14:47And because I think sometimes we forget that Chicago is an extremely run heavy team.
14:52They can pass. They can put up volume when they need to.
14:56But pass volume can dip for them because they are too deep at running back.
15:01They like to lean on the ground game in between Swift and Kyle Menongai.
15:05They were very aggressive in top five and rush attempts last year.
15:09So I'm not surprised that this happened. DeAndre Swift was one of my favorite value picks for a guy that you could
15:16draft just a little bit later in the mid rounds and then feel in fourth or fifth.
15:22And then feel really good about him as an RB two with potential RB one upside.
15:27So he just really showcased exactly what we were expecting in a very good game.
15:32I will say it was a great matchup. So we do have to be a little bit careful because we did see plenty of involvement from Kyle Menongai.
15:41And that was good to see with him coming off of the injury.
15:46But at the end of the day, beautiful day for Swift and then beautiful day for Jonathan Taylor as well.
15:52Honestly, Derek Henry. I mean, running backs working. They just really today was about proving that early investment in running backs was
15:59the way to go rather than waiting with a few exceptions into that dreaded later dead zone.
16:05So JT looking good with Daniel Jones back. Offense was flowing, moving very well.
16:10He didn't put up a massive volume game. Daniel Jones didn't.
16:13But at the end of the day, it was really good to see that level of production.
16:19Checkdowns to JT as well. So just a very encouraging performance that we should see continue on through the rest of the season.
16:26Yeah, the offense looked OK. But the defense for the Colts did not look OK.
16:31And I know everyone in the chat, everyone is bringing up Colson Loveland.
16:35We will absolutely get to Colson Loveland and Jamar Chase in the panic meter part of the show here.
16:42But now we are going over kind of the positive stuff in the storylines.
16:46What's number two for you, Tara? Number two is Gibbs.
16:50Big day without David Montgomery. A massive day. Volume.
16:53They were not kidding. You know, I know people got concerned in terms of just how much workload are they going.
16:59Not concerned, but just kind of wondering, like, how far is it going to push with workload on Jameer Gibbs?
17:06I mean, he was pushing 30 carries, 150 yards, multiple touchdowns, caught passes as well, per his typical.
17:12But really, just the beauty on the ground was incredible.
17:15And then on the opposite end, David Montgomery as well.
17:18And I have to do an apology to David Montgomery because I was skeptical.
17:23In my bold predictions, I said that, you know, he might just be putting up, you know, a RB3 production.
17:30And for him to come out right off the bat with some still reasonable involvement from Woody Marks dominating at the goal
17:37line like that heavy with 20 carries. I was very impressed by the work that he did.
17:42And honestly, it was a great matchup. So this was a good week to utilize.
17:47Monty, he was a top 20 for me in ranking.
17:51So massively overperformed. That was a safe start and a good matchup.
17:55But to see this level of output, especially because we weren't expecting this to be a massive offensive game from both of these teams.
18:02It was like the supposed to be the defensive bowl and Buffalo's defense and Houston's defense.
18:08And then we just had offenses lighting it up both ways.
18:11So that was, yeah, I was like, well, okay, that was interesting.
18:15That, that, uh, that touchdown, um, to Shakir, uh, it looked like the Stefan Diggs play where, uh, Blankenship went for the pick and just whiffed on it.
18:24And then you just turned around and it's nothing but green grass.
18:28That was a great play. And then right before the, the bill scored, you know, what ended up being the game winning
18:36touchdown Lasser dropped that pick in the end zone.
18:39And he had it hit him right in the hands, man.
18:42Josh Allen gave it away and you couldn't seal it.
18:45Yeah. That's a disappointing, uh, loss for Texans fans here.
18:49Speaking of that game, how about Dalton Kincaid with this breakout?
18:52Yes. Uh, six targets, five catches, 130 yards, made a couple of huge catches.
18:57I was super skeptical. I'll, I'll eat crow on this one, uh, on Dalton Kincaid, because it was like, since he got
19:04hurt early in 2024, he had been in and on over 50% of snaps in like, I like six games.
19:11Since then he'd been dealing with his PCL injury.
19:14He decided not to have surgery on it. I thought everything was going to be a little more negative for Kincaid, but
19:21he torched what we thought was going to be the best defense or at least the second best defense behind the Rams.
19:28And that looks like an aberration at this point.
19:31But, um, Kincaid looked great. Is this something to build on?
19:35Is this something you would maybe go, maybe I go ahead and see if anybody wants to bite on this.
19:41Maybe a trade action for Dalton Kincaid a little bit, or, you know, Hey, look, uh, we got hard O McDermott out of there.
19:49Now it's Joe Brady letting them sling it. Uh, are we more positive on Kincaid after this huge game?
19:55Yeah. You spoiled me there. Um, I do the five, uh, moves to make video that drops on Tuesday and sell Dalton
20:03Kincaid will be in on it because you were right in practice.
20:07And I'm, um, exactly with you on that in terms of the injuries, the fact that back-to-back seasons, the very, uh, was
20:14it our, uh, tight end 20 tight and 30 back-to-back seasons.
20:17He was already being drafted above his ceiling, which was what we saw in his rookie season.
20:23So theoretically there's, you know, this higher upside for him, but I actually liked Kincaid this week as a start.
20:30He's a top 10, um, option for me. I'm not shocked at all.
20:34The portion of this game that I was shocked and maybe this is honestly, it could have been different and right in practice.
20:41Um, if we didn't have, I can't remember which, um, back it was, but the big DJ Moore catch where, um, whatever
20:49back it was went for the interception whiffed, just barely missed it.
20:52And then it was just an easy touch and catch and run for DJ Moore for the big touchdown.
20:59If that didn't happen, theoretically, it would have played out like we thought in terms of the tougher coverage being on DJ
21:06Moore and a bigger opportunity for a guy like Dalton Kincaid.
21:10So I'm not surprised that he had this game against Houston.
21:13I would not expect this level of consistent, this level of upside on a consistent basis.
21:18We do have to remember like in, he just in preseason was dealing with what was, um, um, a little injury as well.
21:26I don't trust him overall. So this is a good opportunity to get out of there because we're not going to see
21:33consistent 300 plus yard games from Josh Allen. We didn't get a heavy, um, production on the ground from James Cook.
21:40He didn't have a touchdown. He had 57 yards.
21:43Josh Allen did run a little bit, but 23 yards.
21:46So overall, and you know, his touchdowns as well, but overall there should be more run volume in this offense.
21:53So that pass volume will come down a bit and there will be those games where it's a big DJ Moore game and Dalton Kincaid gets nothing.
22:02And oh, wait, it's a Kalea Shakir gate and Dalton Kincaid gets nothing.

23:53I see what you're saying here. What's number four for you here?
23:57Number four is the Jacksonville Committee of Doom. I hesitated to tell anyone to start Basial Tootin this week because my fear
24:05was that this was genuinely going to be a split in this first week.
24:09And hopefully we would be able to gleam something of this.
24:13And I don't know if we did, unfortunately, because if you look at the box score, you can take away would be OK.
24:20Basial Tootin, 15 carries, 66 rushing yards. He caught a pass.
24:24Chris Rodriguez, six carries, 23 yards. OK, it's Tootin's backfield.
24:27Not quite. The first half, this was evenly split.
24:30And visually, it was looking like it was tilting a little bit more towards Rodriguez and in the red zone as well.
24:37And I don't think we got the best showcase of really what this split will ultimately be.
24:43And only one check down, although that's not unusual because Trevor Lawrence is not a massive check down guy.
24:49He's more of a meaningful check down guy. It's not as if Travis Etienne, HN, whatever, had massive receptions.
24:55They were just very critical, big plays and touchdown opportunities.
24:59So it was more even in the first half.
25:02Rodriguez did play through the end. So this was not you can't look at it and say like, oh, second half.
25:09They really just decided that they wanted to pull Rodriguez.
25:12So maybe it is his backfield. I think it's very split.
25:15And I don't think we got the answer we were looking for here.
25:20Our answer was Parker Washington. That was our answer.
25:23He looked great. That touchdown catch. I mean, he stretched out every inch he possibly could to get that.
25:29What a beautiful, beautiful catch by Parker Washington, who he made those in college, too.
25:34Yeah. The official split. I'm not sure if you said it or not.
25:38It was 28 snaps for Tootin and 23 for C-Rod with 10 routes run for Tootin and 12 for C-Rod.
25:45So, you know, not exactly 50-50, but as close as you can get without being exactly 50-50.
25:50So, yeah, Parker Washington looked great. BTJ left. You know, Myers did have a couple more snaps in Washington and BTJ got hurt.
25:58So I do wonder what that looks like in the future.
26:01But Parker Washington, by far the best wide receiver out there for the Jags.
26:06And then the last one up, what is number five on your storylines here?
26:11Number five, I was a little bit debating, but we did a lot of positive stuff.
26:16So let's do a little womp womp. Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
26:20I hate it for anyone because I know there were people that had the Chargers in their survivor bowls and yikes, yikes, yikes.
26:27Oh, they lost. This was supposed to be the big coming out of this new offense under Mike McDaniel and the Justin Herbert volume and big plays.
26:36And I was all in on Quentin Johnston and Quentin Johnston just got nothing.
26:41Like, where were the big plays downfield? Quentin Johnston.
26:44And it was and we didn't, you know, Amari and Hampton, 12 carries, 43 yards, touchdown.
26:49The touchdown was great. But I thought, you know, initially like, OK, we're off to it to be a nice run heavy game.
26:56Big game from Hampton that amounted to basically nothing.
26:59And the offense just kind of dwindled. Vlad McConkie had the wonderful day.
27:04It was good to see him bounce back and pay off for where we drafted him for sure.
27:10But the injury we already talked about it. This was just incredibly, incredibly frustrating.
27:14Arande Gadsden didn't pop. We had usage of a David Njoku.
27:18This was just such a messy, messy day that was underwhelming in a matchup with Arizona, which is arguably the easiest, one
27:25of the easiest defensive matchups that we're going to have unless this defense somehow improved under under our nose and we just didn't really notice.
27:33This is a little bit of a red flag for us that, oh, maybe we might have to come to a reckoning,
27:40unfortunately, with Justin Herbert and the Chargers. Yeah. A lot of, you know, I guess maybe you can say they're adjusting to a new offense, right?
27:49We could give him that excuse at least for week one.
27:53But it's the Cardinals. Baby, you gotta go. You should be, you know.
27:57I'm live right now. Terrible. But they survived the Falcons.
28:00You know what I mean? Like you should survive the Cardinals.
28:04Exactly. At any point. So maybe they're better than we thought.
28:07But yeah, that was it was a bad day to be starting Chargers here.
28:12So tough day. Lad had all the targets. Shut the door.
28:16All of the targets. He had all the targets before going down.
28:20So just not a good day for the Chargers overall.
28:23But now it is time to interact with y'all.
28:26We are going to go to the Panic Meter right after I tell you about your chance to win this Kyron Williams signed mini helmet.
28:34If you want the chance to win this helmet, then this is your shot.
28:39All you need to do is leave a review on either Apple Podcasts or Spotify and screenshot that review and email it to mailbag at fantasypros.com.
28:47That's it. We'll be announcing the winner right here on the show.
28:51So make sure you turn on those YouTube notifications or follow the podcast wherever you listen to us so you can know
28:58when new episodes are up and to claim your prize.
29:02All right, everybody. Go to the chat. Tell us who you are panicking about after week one and we will get after it.
29:09Let's just go ahead and start with Colson Loveland because I feel like that is every single comment.
29:15Is Colson Loveland getting blanked? Kyle Pitts getting blanked.
29:18So what are our concerns about? Let's just start with those tight ends.
29:22Colson Loveland and Kyle Pitts. Oh, my God. Fifty nine points for Chicago.
29:26And Colson Loveland was non-existent. He was there. He was out there.
29:30I mean, he played. He was a starter. He was blocking on that comeback touchdown very well.
29:36Yeah. In our points per blocking leagues, he was cool.
29:39Good Lord. I will say that this is an opportunity because it wasn't just like Rome.
29:45Now, Rome was clearly a little bit limited. But Burden was unimpressive in terms of volume.
29:50I would take a look at this game and recognize that, again, we do have a Panthers defense that does tilt stronger
29:57in terms of coverage to receivers and pass catchers in general.
30:01So perhaps we just do a little bit of a like a big and I see a comment saying, you know, Caleb Loveland or Caleb.
30:09Caleb missed him on his wide open target, his only wide open target.
30:13So, yeah, I don't think we need to panic panic yet.
30:17This could be a good buy low opportunity because this was very peculiar.
30:21And I just can't fathom that we are looking at Kalief Raymond as the leader for the room.
30:27Like, this can't. This can't be. I completely agree with that.
30:30And I think, you know, like the Kyle Pitts thing, we can at least make an excuse for Kyle Pitts.
30:37Yeah. Like you have the third string quarterback in here because Penix wasn't able to go to a got hurt in practice.
30:44And even Cooper Rush wasn't 100 percent because he had back spasms the day before the game or two days before the game.
30:52So I thought at some point they might go to Strand.
30:55But, you know, so Kyle Pitts kind of has a built in excuse of working with Cooper Rush and Rush not getting
31:03a lot of first team reps up until like he got nothing in camp.
31:07I was listening to one of my Steelers podcast before and they have a Falcons beat writer on.
31:13And he was talking about how a strand or Rush basically got no work with the first team before this week.
31:20So it was going to be rough this week.
31:23But I don't have a lot of excuses for Colson Loveland.
31:27Right. Just a bad game. I think we chalk it up to that and we move forward.
31:32I would buy low just like you said. A lot of other guys here getting, you know, the panic meter.
31:39Let's just talk about a couple offenses overall. Cleveland's offense and Tennessee's offense.
31:43They looked pathetic and so bad. I mean, Cleveland scored late on that Denzel Boston bomb.
31:48Yeah, Tennessee. Man, I thought Cam Ward was going to be a thing maybe this year.
31:54He looked miserable in the preseason and he transferred all that into week one and they got smoked by the Jets.
32:00Now the Jets had a nice scoring week one last year, too, where they had over 30 points.
32:06And then disappeared. You know, it's week one for everybody here.
32:10But what are your thoughts on the players you're rostering on Cleveland and Tennessee?
32:15Cleveland, I am surprised that then I get it.
32:17Why they let Deshaun play the entire game. It's not fair to Shader to say, hey, second half, go out here and whatever.
32:25Right. But I find it hard to believe. Maybe they give him one more shot because Jacksonville is a legitimately tough defense that does not get enough credit.
32:34But at the end of the day, I don't see Deshaun long.
32:38I don't know if that deep ball can save him.
32:41Congrats. Yay. Denzel Boston and all love you. I like Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion in this offense.
32:47Should or Deshaun does seem to have a preference for Jerry Judy.
32:51I get it. They're buddies. Clearly, he has a preference for them.
32:55Judy has a preference for him. My hope is that we still invest in specifically Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston from a
33:02pure talent perspective and hope that that pushes forward.
33:05Once we get the transition to Shader Sanders, who can more consistently put like he's not perfect.
33:11Right. It's not going to be this transition to a wonderful offense, but he is more beneficial for the receivers pushing the ball downfield.
33:19And I think we'll see more consistency out of him.
33:22So we may not get it next week, but I find it hard to believe that Deshaun is long for this world.
33:29So let's let's let's let's just not panic too much right now.
33:33So, um, Tennessee Ward 19 to 32, 140 and a score Pollard, Wandale five for 38 Pollard at seven carries for 35
33:41yards and a catch for negative one. I mean, it was all bad in Tennessee.
33:45So if we're like a five on Cleveland overall, because we think there's going to be a quarterback switch there where we hadn't on Tennessee one through 10.
33:55We're like, we're like a, we're like a eight.
33:58Yeah. Yeah. Don't go too high, but it can't be lower than a seven.
34:02Yeah. My hope was that what we saw, I mean, the preseason was very clear.
34:07And my hope was that one that we would have some kind of game plan to help ease Cam Ward and get him more on rhythm.
34:16It is a new offense. So maybe he's struggling to learn.
34:19Perhaps that's it. But I find it very hard to trust anyone in that offense.
34:24We knew that there was going to be this split of Pollard and Spears, but we, our hope was, you know, okay,
34:31they move the ball a little bit better than they did last year.
34:36Pollard did have some upside and easier matchups, goal line priority.
34:39So, okay, maybe he's workable as a flex option.
34:42But looking at that receiving core, I've got some concerns and those concerns are not, oddly enough, don't remotely involve Calvin Ridley.
34:49Thank goodness for that. A lot of Alec Allier-Mainer.
34:52We saw a little bit of Chimri Dike. We know that Wandale Robinson is there getting peppered with useless targets.
34:59And then we've got Cardinal Tate. And it's just, it feels like this could be a wee bit messy.
35:05Like if I was like, because I, from a betting perspective, I had talked about like, okay, Cardinal Tate could get rookie
35:12of the year from the perspective of having the same path as Ted Arroa McMillan.
35:17But you don't have that same path if we have all that usage from all these other receivers and you still have
35:25a quarterback that is not pushing aggressive volume. Unlike a Ted Arroa McMillan where it's just him and Jalen Coker.
35:31So, it's okay if the volume is a little bit bleak because it's a very narrow target funnel.
35:37Yeah, it was, those two offenses were just hard to watch, right?
35:41Like watching paint dry here. We've got a lot of comments about Jamar Chase, who had four targets, two catches and 12 yards.
35:49And Terry McLaurin, who I didn't have it on my sheet because we started the show before that game ended.
35:55Four targets, the same deal, basically. Four targets, two catches for 14 yards.
35:59So, Chase and McLaurin, you know, I'm definitely not hitting the panic meter on Chase yet.
36:05They won. They won going away. The defense looked way better for Cincinnati.
36:09Cincinnati. Chase is going to be fine, in my opinion.
36:12So, that's like a one or a two to me.
36:15Are you on board with that for Chase? Yeah, and, you know, he was dealing with that injury.
36:21So, perhaps there were some levels of limitations there as well.
36:25I'm not panicking over what happened with Chase. What about Terry McLaurin, though?
36:29Because, I mean, it was a tough matchup against a good Philly defense here.
36:34And we've heard about all the problems with Washington.
36:37They seem to start clicking a little bit in the second half.
36:41Yeah. But it was all going to digs. It felt like Antonio Williams had a couple nice catches down the stretch there.
36:48So, Terry McLaurin just got locked up by Quentin Mitchell.
36:51That's basically what it was, right? Yeah, I think that's what it is.
36:55And the fact that we had a lot of that usage for Antonio Williams tells you, who I do clearly love, tells
37:03you that we might, that might have just been a matchup kind of situation.
37:07So, because we didn't have any kind of preseason indication that Williams was making these aggressive moves towards being a consistent, possibly leading the receiver.
37:16So, no, I think it was definitely more of a Philadelphia secondary matchup kind of situation.
37:21So, but it is a reminder that there are other bodies there.
37:25We did, did we have a little injury from Chig, I think, at the end there?
37:30But there are other bodies. I didn't see it if we did.
37:34I think we might have. But there are other bodies there with digs and Antonio Williams looking good.
37:40So, in terms of volume, it may not be that massive, massive upside that we were hoping for the return to what
37:47we saw during Jaden Daniels' rookie season with Terry.
37:50Ezra asked about Devon Achan. 11 for 36. He had five catches, or five targets, four catches, 30 yards.
37:56Malik Will's first start, you know, the Raiders did get to him five times eventually.
38:01I didn't have, I had IDP league with Max Crosby.
38:04I'm like, where is he? He hasn't shown up.
38:07And then here he is in the second half.
38:10Had a huge second half. But, yeah, not a great look from the Dolphins, you know, new offense and new coaching staff and all that.
38:19Yeah, that felt like it didn't feel like a Malik issue.
38:22It didn't feel like an Achan issue. It felt like an offensive line issue.
38:27So, hopefully this is something that they can coach up and get working and functioning better.
38:32Especially, hey, maybe Max Crosby, you know, was Raiders defense.
38:35Maybe it's back to a more competent level. Maybe the Rams reinvest after sending Miles Garrett to the IR.
38:42Apparently he nixed a trade to the Rams. That came out the other day.
38:46Jonathan Brooks. Now, Jonathan Brooks, I understand he's just a little limited coming in here anyway.
38:51But only four for 14. He did have one big catch for 48 yards, but only five touches in this game.
38:58Chuba had the two scores. Are we worrying about Jonathan Brooks on a scale of 1 to 10?
39:04Or are we chalking this up more to them slow rolling him being questionable coming in?
39:09I think slightly slow roll. But, again, he's not a startable RB2 right now as long as Chuba Hubbard.
39:16You have to, for him to get to that level, he has to take the job.
39:21And Chuba looked really good today. So I think he'll continue to contribute.
39:25But at the end of the day, if you were planning on this being something you can trust as a weekly starter,
39:32you might want to start looking elsewhere trying to make some moves.
39:36But don't bail out. Don't panic. Yeah, I agree with that.
39:40Before we move on to questions from the chatters here, anybody else you want to put the panic meter on or talk about?
39:47I mean, Drake London. But, again, that was with the backup quarterback.
39:51Devontae Adams, but apparently lack of sleep. We talked about Romeo Dobbs a little bit earlier.
39:57Rico was second fiddle to Jalen Warren. Anybody else you're panicking about?
40:01You know, Marvin Harrison Jr. was low-key interesting. The Kendrick board.
40:04You know what? It took me back to like, oh, wait a second.
40:08I was a Kendrick-born truther back in New England.
40:11They did mess him over. Wait a second. That happened.
40:15And then I was like, wait a second. He did play with Jacoby Brissett.
40:19Wait a second. Yeah, Marv. Oh, man. And it doesn't matter.
40:23Like, I've said so many things about Marv. I get it on both sides.
40:28When he does good, I get people like, see, we can't get rid of him.
40:32When he does bad, it's like, I told you he wasn't going to have a good year.
40:38So, you know, my opinions on Marv are kind of down the middle.
40:42But he looked not good today. So, I would say, would we put that at five or would we go to like maybe a six?
40:51Oh, well, yeah, we'll tilt it up to a six.
40:54We might push it to a seven because at the end of the day, it's always Trey McBride.
41:00And Jeremiah Love looked good. So, I mean, there's so many bodies.
41:04It doesn't have to be Marvin Harrison Jr. by any means.
41:07Oh, Lordy. All right. Well, we are going to answer your questions next.
41:12Before we do that, we remind you guys to join our Fantasy Pros Discord community, chat with other fans, get access to

41:35Come and get your questions answered and be on the show at fantasypros.com slash chat.
41:40All right. Your questions, drop them in the chat right now.
41:43Now, as we are going along, we are going to get these answered until the start of Sunday night football.
41:50So, we are going to start here. Let me get to these questions.
41:54Is Marvin Harrison Jr. a drop right now from J-Mac?
41:57No, I don't think we can because Jacoby Brissett did exactly what I expected him.
42:02A little less. I said, you know, 40 attempts, but he was right under 37.
42:07So, volume. But again, that was game script since they mollywomped the Chargers there.
42:12So, Jacoby Brissett's throwing for volume. Don't drop yet.
42:15Not yet. Just hold on. Bench, but don't drop.
42:18Yeah. Bench and don't drop, I think, is probably the best way to go here.
42:23I'm trying to scroll back and find some of these questions if you all want to throw them up on the chat.
42:30We didn't mention him, but Ted Aroa McMillan? Are we worried about Ted Aroa McMillan being second fiddle to Jalen Coker?
42:37I kind of – I had Jalen Coker high in my week one rankings, Tara, because the slot coverage in Chicago was bad last year.
42:45I had Parker Washington high because the slot coverage in Cleveland was bad last year.
42:50And I was particularly high on those guys coming in, or at least as high as the community was.
42:56And they had huge games. So, kind of what I expected.
43:00But Ted Aroa, you know, kind of held out and did fumble.
43:04Are we worried about Ted Aroa at all, or is this just a week one eye roller?
43:09No. Again, this was just – it's him. And it's, you know, it's funny.
43:14Darren Waller had a touchdown call back. I was disappointed because I was like, well, I just want the lure of the
43:21Darren Waller touchdowns to just live on forever. Very unusable production, but touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, injury.
43:26No, I think that, again, this – from a pure pass catcher perspective, the volume is very funneled to those two guys.
43:34Now, Jalen Coker popping up. I'm a big Jalen Coker.
43:37I, you know, qualify as one of the Cokehead fans.
43:40So, I'm not surprised. It's a little more even than what people were willing to admit.
43:45So, it's not a panic on Ted Aroa McMillan because he's still got plenty of upside.
43:51But you need to consider Jalen Coker being pushed up and getting a little bit closer.
43:56Here's our guy Debro in the chat. Jalen Coker.
43:59He's all over here. There we go. Of course, of course.
44:03Now, a couple people asking about Devontae Smith. Devontae Smith, not the greatest day in the world here.
44:08What was it? It was six targets, three catches, 53 yards.
44:12You know, not the worst day ever, but not what we expected.
44:16We expected, okay, A.J. Brown's out. This guy is going to get littered with targets.
44:21Didn't happen in week one. Are we worried about Devontae Smith at all?
44:25No, it's a continuation of what we saw last season.
44:28I don't think that we should have expected the A.J.
44:32Brown exit to mean that suddenly there's going to be weekly top five upside for Devontae Smith.
44:37This is the Eagles offense. They're going to try to lean back on Saquon Barkley.
44:42I'm not surprised we got, you know, some pop there from Dontabian Wicks.
44:46We knew that Dallas Goddard was going to be a president.
44:50So there are still bodies and Jalen Hurts is still going to do Jalen Hurts things, lean on the ground game, lean
44:57on his legs, spread the ball around. So, yeah, I'm not surprised, but I wouldn't panic over this.
45:03Craig B. asked, is Judkins a bench right now?
45:06He mildly pulled it out in terms of somewhat redeeming-ish himself.
45:10Yeah, he is a push down into flex territory.
45:13And if you've got something else, if you have another workable body that's in an offense that will not be trailing, yes.
45:20Yes. MJ asked, is this game from Shuck an outlier or do you think we can expect this type of production going forward?
45:28And are we worried about HN usage? I am worried about Travis HN.
45:32Yes, 100%. That made no logical sense. The uptick in checkdowns was kind of crazy.
45:37So it did get at least salvaged from that perspective.
45:40But the split on the ground was highly, highly concerning.
45:43I don't think this is an outlier. Well, this was the volume.
45:47Now, again, we got to remember they were chasing points.
45:50They catch up. They, you know, got there. And the Detroit secondary can be a bit vulnerable as well.
45:57So I don't think every week will like this.
46:00But garbage time, second half, comebacks. I would not be shocked if we continue to see things be shaky, pick up, eventually
46:07get there from a pure volume perspective. Just based off the fact that he is throwing to some, you know, we saw Devon Vele step up.
46:15We know Chris Olave is amazing. Jawan Johnson came through.
46:19So it's, you know, despite losing Jordan Tyson, they're still a solid group.
46:23The rookies show decently well as well. So, yeah.
46:26And it's a Kellen Moore offense that pushes aggressive volume continuously.
46:30And that's the key there. Kellen Moore is going to ensure that we are consistently seeing 30 plus targets from Tyler Shucks.
46:37So you don't have to worry on that. Let's see.
46:40We got one here. Waiver wire rank between Debo, Vele, Boston, and Caleb Douglas.
46:45Good question here. It is Debo for me because of, you know, stripling injury.
46:49I think, again, it'll be those three and Kittle, Mike Evans, and Debo that are going to be the three solid.
46:56So I would prioritize Debo if he's there. Then Vele, Douglas, and then Boston.
47:01I could flip Douglas and Boston, but I do still need to see that quarterback change, honestly.
47:06Yeah. I mean, Douglas was pepper with target. He was.
47:10I do like that part. Thoughts on Gainwell. Well, I don't know that I have Gainwell anywhere.
47:15Did I see what he did? It was a little mediocre, to be honest.
47:20Let me see. Impressive. I mean, they were losing the whole time, right?
47:24Yeah. Gainwell, five for 15, one target, one catch, three yards.
47:28So not a lot of usage there for Kenny Gainwell.
47:31Yeah. It was a nice day for Bucky Irving, but it was never Gainwell.
47:36That was the worry of Sean Tucker at the goal line.
47:39So him being out, definitely eliminated from that, from being a concern.
47:43But because between Bucky and Gainwell, you know, it was going to be Bucky at the goal line more than likely.
47:50So I'm not surprised on that end, but it kind of solidified that Gainwell is not going to get enough production to
47:57maybe he has enough to creep in on Bucky and make Bucky a little irritating, but not enough to be standalone value.
48:04Maybe. See, Nelson says, it was crazy, but I will still ask, could Khalif Raymond be a thorn in the side of the Bears' top weapons?
48:13He had eight for 84 on nine targets. Cale would seem to be looking for him a lot, especially near the line.
48:20What are your thoughts on Khalif Raymond, maybe as a useful player for the Bears moving forward here?
48:26I wouldn't dismiss it for the fact that we did have to overcome Olamide Zaccheaus last year.
48:32So I mean, this is not a, this is not a random anomaly.
48:36So it's entirely possible that this is one of those things.
48:40Am I rushing to the waiver wire to grab Khalif Raymond and Raymond in our, you know, your typical league?
48:46Probably not, but he could be a thorn in the, thorn in the side is the perfect warning, a perfect phrasing of it.
48:54Thorn in the side of those top weapons. And, and Metal James asked, Coker overburden?
48:59Think about it. Yeah. I think that's for me.
49:02Hey, um, I think you're just auto on Coker overburden, right?
49:05Oh yeah. Love it. 100%. I'm going to say matchup based right now, but, um, Coker looked great this week.
49:12There's no doubt about it. Uh, chase killing me on the week.
49:16Uh, thoughts on the Bengals defense from Messer Grimm.
49:19It looked good. Dexter Lawrence changes the entire outlook of your defense, but not just that night tackled.
49:24Well, Barrett Carter played well. I thought the secondary was pretty good for most of the time.
49:30And I mean, they thumped Baker Mayfield a ton, right?
49:33Mm-hmm. And I was surprised because they were, you know, dealing with injuries.
49:38So I thought they might be, um, you know, cause I thought we'd see a positive progression, but then the injuries came
49:45and like, ah, maybe we'll see a little bit shakier this week.
49:49But no, it looks like maybe, maybe they finally made the right moves to actually, they had Baker in fits.
49:55Yeah. Um, and then the last one we'll do because Sunday night football is about to start from Ben going forward in a non PPR TD heavy league.
50:05Would you rather start to Juan Johnson over pits going forward until things change?
50:09Yes, I would. Um, yeah. I mean, the first half of the saints looked so pathetic, right?
50:15Like they just look so bad. Uh, but that second half, they were really, really good.
50:20So, uh, yeah, Juan Johnson, now that Chuck has his confidence and is there and had them in that game.
50:27And I mean, they really had a chance to win it at the end, but, uh, yeah, I, I think I agree
50:34with you until we know what the quarterback situation is in Atlanta, you know, at least get back to Tua, like Tua is tied in friendly.
50:42So at the very least, if we can get back to Tua, then I can say, okay, but it did Cooper rush
50:50was super check down and maybe, maybe a week of practice can get him on track.
50:55Cause what you were saying, limited usage. So maybe all he could do was check down.
51:00Could have been, could have been, but that is going to wrap it up for us.
