Nabers was a frequent target for the Giants, recording two receptions from Jameis Winston as the team moved past midfield in the second quarter, a 27-yard reception from JJ McCarthy in the fourth quarter, and a 46-yard connection with McCarthy later in the fourth quarter; also had an incomplete pass on a two-point conversion attempt.PositiveMatchupOct 17, 2026
Malik Nabers logged 11 receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown last week. Winston looked to Nabers in must-have situations, establishing him as the Giants' best receiver. The source notes that if the Saints' pass rush becomes a problem on Sunday, it will likely be the same against New Orleans, suggesting Nabers' production could be limited if the Saints' defense succeeds.PositiveProjectionOct 16, 2026
Nabers is part of an elite receiving trio with Isaiah Likely and Chris Olave (hypothetically); the Giants would be in conversation for the best trio of pass catchers in the NFL with this combination, highlighting Nabers' status as a key receiving asset.PositiveMatchupOct 16, 2026
Nabers is the Giants' primary wide receiver and represents a potential matchup problem for the Saints secondary, which ranks 13th in passing defense (allowing 212 yards per game). The source warns that if the Giants look to get Nabers involved early and often, it could create problems for a Saints secondary that has struggled overall.
