0:38My name is Andrew Siciliano. We are inside of a week now until kickoff on a brand new season.
0:45The Patriots, the Seahawks in Seattle. Coming up, Jordan Rodriguez is here to tell you what you should know about sign stealing in the National Football League.
0:54We begin, though, with what is news to me.
0:57And that is that the Sanford San Francisco 49ers.
1:00Sanford, again today was asked, would you play without a new contract?
1:04And he would not say that definitively. Gonzalez reiterated he is frustrated today.
1:09This after Mike Vrabel says he expects Gonzalez to play.
1:12As the head coach, I expect every player that's healthy and under contract to practice and to play.
1:18And again, that may change based on my conversations with different players and the plan that they have each and every day
1:26when you talk about practice or what the plan may be for the football game.
1:31So that goes with this situation and anybody else that would fall underneath that.
1:36That's what our expectation is. Again, still no new contract for Gonzalez.
1:40However, there is one for Michael Wilson who might be the best low-key A-list receiver in the NFL.
1:46And the Cardinals rewarded him as such today. Three years, $75 million.
1:5047 of those millions guaranteed. Extremely humble. So much gratitude.
1:54And for me, this is, I don't look at this as the end.
1:58Like, this is the beginning of something great. And, you know, we have our first game in 10 or nine days.
2:05And, you know, I'm going to sit on this probably for 24 hours.
2:10But I definitely don't want to get too high and think about the deal because come next Sunday, no one's going to care about the deal.
2:19And so my focus is going to be on continuing to put out a great product, both individually but also as a
2:26team and doing whatever I can to help the organization win games and play a large role in that.
2:33Meantime, in Indianapolis, Daniel Jones says he is good to go for week one against the Ravens in 10 days.
2:40Jones has not played a single game since here, tearing the Achilles back in December.
2:45That is, save for one day, Jones has taken every single first-team rep at training camp.
2:50Yeah, I think I've done, yeah, completed kind of each phase of the process.
2:55And, yeah, I guess the last part is playing in a game, in a full-speed contact game.
3:01But I feel like I've simulated all that stuff with the exception of, you know, the hits and stuff.
3:07But I feel good about, you know, being in live game action.
3:11Jones did not take the first team reps in practice of late was last Thursday.
3:17And that was to get Anthony Richardson ready for the preseason finale.
3:21Shane Steichen confirmed today that Richardson will be the number two quarterback, despite some speculation last week that the Colts were ready to move on on cutdown day.
3:30They did not move on, as you can see, on cutdown day.
3:34Let's go to Baltimore. We still do not know if Namde Matabike is going to be chasing Daniel Jones in week one.
3:42Matabike, however, is back in team drills, which is good.
3:45He has not played a real game since week two of 2025, trying to come back from a neck injury.
3:52Progressing really well. He's been in a few team reps and done some things.
3:57You know, what that looks like for week one, I think it's still a day-to-day thing, I would say.
4:04But to his credit, you know, we've wanted this to be a really smart and proactive approach to get him ready to
4:11play football after dealing with what he went through.
4:14Also the surgery that he went through. And so, again, we feel good about where it's at today.
4:20It's still a day-to-day process. But we certainly have seen some things that indicate, you know, great things ahead for Namde.
4:28We've got one last Ravens injury update for you.
4:31Zay Flowers back on the practice field today. Notable because it's the first time he's done that in two weeks.
4:37Flowers got a new contract last month, four years and $140 million.
4:42He was battling a quad injury a couple of weeks ago as well.
4:46Let's go to Cincinnati. Joe Burrow is bullish on the Bengals.
4:50Granted, he is supposed to be bullish on the Bengals because the team spent all this money on the defensive side of the ball.
4:58Burrow, however, seems downright giddy. You see the quote on the screen.
5:02We are going to be really good this year.
5:05He said he feels it in his bones. Look at the Bengals' defensive rankings.
5:10He feels good because they spent money on Dexter Lawrence and Boye Mafé and Brian Cook.
5:15And if they can only play some defense, then yes, maybe they can get back to the playoffs.
5:22Something, either Jordan Rodrigue, that they have missed in these last three seasons.
5:26He feels it in his bones. They spent money on defense.
5:30Are they going to be good? Because there's a little bit of riding on this season.
5:35I was going to say the graphic that we just saw is very kind.
5:40It said since 2023. In 2025, the first half of the season, the Bengals had an historically bad defense.
5:47And so going and swinging big on a player like Dexter Lawrence to really anchor the center of that defensive line, to
5:54me, raises the floor of this defense, helps them build out a really understandable and complementary pass rush plan, helps them stop the run.
6:02The Bengals were getting pushed around so much, even before contact at the line of scrimmage, 29th in yards allowed before contact in the NFL all last season.
6:12They needed some muscle up front. They needed some depth up front, too.
6:16And so I like the run pass help that Dexter Lawrence provides.
6:21They just need to raise the floor and let Joe Burrow cook.
6:25With the second year here with Al Golden as the defensive coordinator, Lou Anarumo fired.
6:30He now is entering his second year in Indianapolis.
6:33I hate the pressure quotient because everyone in this league has pressure.
6:37Everyone at every position and every job. There's someone waiting to take your job.
6:42But they spent all this money this year. Duke Tobin went out and spent Mike Brown's money this year because this year
6:49feels different for the Bengals, doesn't it? I think so.
6:53I think they're a very high variance team, too.
6:56Like, I could see them having a very high ceiling.
6:59I could see them having a similar floor to what we've seen.
7:03Duke Tobin and the Bengals front office said, it's not going to be on us.
7:09We've gone and taken the risks. We've made the splash moves we're not known for.
7:14And here we go. Now it's the coaching staff and Joe Burrow's turn to show up.
7:19All right, show up and try to get back into the postseason.
7:23Last year when Burrow was healthy, they were 5-3.
7:26When he wasn't healthy, they were losing the majority of their games with Joe Flacco and Jake Browning, among others.
7:33Jeff Hatley, he's the new head coach of the Dolphins.
7:37He was talking about week one prep today. They play the Raiders.
7:41And he told this story about 2024's opener, back when he was the D.C.
7:46in Green Bay and the Packers played the Eagles in Brazil.
7:49Take a listen. He told me that before we played them in Brazil, he had half my pressures on tape from training
7:57camp from people that videoed it and put it in online and Twitter, etc.
8:02And then he even, I remember, we had a pressure that I had never run, so there's no way he could have known about it.
8:10And they knew it was coming, and he said that they saw that pressure on video.
8:16So, I mean, yeah, it's kind of disappointing, but at the same time, I'm really not sure what you can do about it, you know?
8:24All right, so teams are still stealing signs. If the information is there, you should have people on your coaching staff combing
8:32social media to try to get any sort of advantage.
8:35And it worked. Jalen Hurts against the Blitz certainly seemed like he knew what was coming in that game.
8:42He was 6-7 for 91 yards and a touchdown and 158.3 passer rating, according to NextGenStats.
8:47So, I think it really, the strategy of it worked.
8:51And it's interesting this year, traveling around training camps, Andrew, and seeing how some teams are trying to combat this.
8:57Yeah, just to be clear, allegedly the sign stealing happened from social media videos at Packers training camp in Green Bay.
9:05Fans in the stands just taking videos with their phone.
9:08Hey, Mom, look, I'm at Packers practice, but they're posting the videos.
9:12Somebody made a great catch. Somebody, you know, broke a tackle.
9:16And that's where they got it. Yes, and now Green Bay has ushers walking around with signs that they flip when they're
9:23not supposed to be filming that say, please protect our plays.
9:27So, we'll see if they protect their plays a little more this year.
9:32Christian Parker, the new DC of the Cowboys, vindicated he doesn't want anyone filming at Oxnard.

12:10We've been debating this all summer. This is where it lands.
12:13Jordan Rodrigue, the star of NFL Daily, with Greg Rosenthal back with me on the NFL Report.
12:19What do you see there on that top 10?
12:22A lot of NFC players. Yeah, no kidding. Andrew, man, two AFC players, Josh Allen and Patrick Sertan, well-deserved, obviously.
12:29But the NFC is loaded. I expect the playoffs to continue that way, too.
12:34Yeah. Miles Garrett, though, I did point out, Miles Garrett did earn the honor, the award, as a Cleveland Brown.
12:41Am I wrong? Listen, the graphic is in blue and gold.
12:45So that's all I'm going to say about that.
12:48See, I honestly think it should be a brown and orange one.
12:52Really, because he wasn't voted on what he's doing as a Ram.
12:56It's very true. He was voted in on getting 23 sacks a year ago.
13:01We will revisit this conversation in exactly one year's time.
13:04I mean, it's been so fun to watch him just destroy the practices he has participated in, Andrew.
13:10I mean, I saw him catch a pick six off a screen and high step into the end zone before he stopped
13:18practicing with the leg issue that sort of flared up.
13:21That guy is unreal. I can't even believe what I'm watching when I watch him move.
13:27Yeah, he's a practice wrecker. And you could argue as well that maybe if the Browns were in the wildcard hunt down
13:34the stretch, he would have gotten legitimate MVP consideration.
13:37Alas, he did not. He will have to settle.
13:40Myles Garrett will for being number one on the NFL's top 100.

13:55Cam, how the heck are you, man? I'm doing good.
13:59Enjoying the moment. Enjoying the time. Obviously, we're building something new here in New York.
14:04So it's been great. And, you know, I've been happier than ever.
14:08So I'm excited. Well, it's good to hear that you're happy.
14:12This week kind of feels weird. We're all talking around the building here at the NFL headquarters in L.A.
14:18how, like, we need a game this week. It's Labor Day weekend.
14:23It's a holiday weekend. It's like this weird in-between.
14:26Don't you feel like we should be playing this weekend?
14:29Yeah, I mean, obviously, we get some college football, I think, this week, right?
14:34So I'm excited to sit back on the couch and watch some college football.
14:39But I think it's time to hurry up and get the season rolling.
14:43I'm excited for it. You know, come Sunday night football, I'm super, super excited to be out there and get ready to go.
14:51Absolutely. And it's great that you are going to be back week one.
14:55You guys open up against the Cowboys on Sunday night in primetime as you have battled back, Cam, from this, I would have to imagine, tough rehab.
15:05How brutal has this process been for you? Yeah, I mean, it's been hard.
15:09I've been able to obviously build connections outside of football and really, you know, get to a point where I'm able to
15:17find myself and find my happiness, my internal happiness in what I want to do in life and, you know, kind of
15:25find who I am as a football player and looking back at clips and stuff and, you know, seeing what I did
15:32and, you know, what I could have done differently.
15:35So I'm excited to get back out there and I'll be able to, you know, really find who I am and enjoy the moment.
15:43Yeah, the highlights are fun. Giants fans enjoyed the moment.
15:47Are you back on the football field? Let's talk about that first.
15:51Are you back to being you? Do you feel the same?
15:55I'm not back to being me. I'm back to being better me.
15:59I think you're going to see a little bit different me this year.
16:03Obviously, you're going to see crazy, physical, hard-nosed, tough football.
16:07But I think you're going to see a little more.
16:10So you only got to see really only five full games of me playing football.
16:15So you're going to see a little bit more from me this year.
16:20And I think I'm going to take that next step into being able to continue to play football in this league and
16:27show people that I'm built for this. All right.
16:30You used the word crazy right there. So I'll go there.
16:34Cam, you were on the podium last week and I was watching your presser last night.
16:40You said, everyone loves to talk about me because I'm crazy.
16:43Do you ever feel the need to prove them right?
16:47Like it's almost, hey, they say I'm crazy. I guess I am.
16:51I have to live up to that. No, I don't ever think I feel the need to prove them right.
16:58But I do think that I feel the need to allow them to enjoy it because I know they get to laugh at it.
17:06They get to talk about it to their friends and enjoy the moment.
17:10And there's moments that I'm giving to people that people don't realize that they're going to look back at and be like, holy crap.
17:19Remember when Scat did this as a Giants fan?
17:22So I'm going to continue to give people moments to laugh at, people moments to think about.
17:27And at the end of the day, they're going to know who I really am when this is all said and done and what I'm about.
17:36And, you know, who who I like to be as a person outside of football.
17:42I love that. And we saw your running buddy there, Jackson Dart, in the video before you came on the screen here.
17:49What is he about? Like for someone who has never met Jackson Dart and they say, Cam, what's his deal?
17:56What do you tell him? Yeah, I mean, that he's the one person that I've met, honestly, outside of a couple of coaches that loves this game.
18:05And it is probably in the building more than anybody I've ever met.
18:10He's a tough kid. He's a hard-nosed player. If he didn't have the arm that he has, he would definitely play running back because he's built for it.
18:19He's strong. He's physical. And, you know, he's somebody that loves this game so much.
18:24He lays it out all out on the line for his teammates and his coaches and his players that he plays with.
18:32And I'm excited to, you know, see him build into year two and see what steps he's going to take to make this football team better.
18:41He's got a big personality. You have a big personality.
18:44Odell Beckham Jr. has a big personality as well.
18:47He has now officially made the team. I mean, the idea that that was a conversation just, I don't know, kind of blows my mind.
18:56But he made the team. You were 12, Cam.
18:59I looked it up when Odell made that ridiculous catch on Monday Night Football.
19:04Where were you when that happened? Do you remember it?
19:07And how weird and cool is it that you're playing with this guy now?
19:12Honestly, I absolutely hated the Cowboys growing up. So I'd never, ever watched a Cowboys game unless they were playing the 49ers.
19:20So I actually didn't see that catch until it hit social media.
19:24But I remember watching it as a kid. And everybody wanted to go outside into the street or into the grass or
19:31get on the field and reenact that. You know, you used to throw the ball up in the air and jump on
19:39the couch backwards and catch the ball like that.
19:42So being able to, you know, see him and be a part of his journey.
19:47And, you know, we built a really strong connection.
19:50You know, receivers and running backs work together in a lot of ways.
19:54You know, we have to pass pro to make sure that they catch the ball.
20:00They have to, you know, run block to make sure that our runs hit.
20:04So, you know, Odell's came down in a couple of preseason games and hit a couple of people that have showed me
20:12that he's ready to play some football. And, you know, I've built a good connection with O and I'm excited to get
20:19on the field with him and, you know, see what he's really all about.
20:24You know how many fans you just made when you said you hated the Cowboys and you refused to watch the Cowboys as a kid?
20:33Well, well done. And I know that you love the Niners.
20:37That's well documented. Your brother, like, took all the Niners stuff out of the house when they passed on you in the
20:44draft and he ended up in New York. You got hurt last year.
20:49I know you remember this. The week before the Niners game.
20:52So you didn't get a chance to play the 49ers.
20:56You get them again this year. Have you thought about what that selly is going to be like when you score against the 49ers?
21:04Yeah, I'm not. I'm not really too deep into the season quite yet.
21:08You know, I've had some talks with Fred Warner last year.
21:12Obviously, he had the same injury I did. And he's been able to help me through the process of, you know, kind
21:20of helping me understand what I need to do to make sure certain things feel better.
21:25And if I've ever had anything pop up, I'm able to text him, call him and, you know, kind of get the inside of on.
21:34And, you know, he almost played if they would end up going further into the playoffs.
21:39And, you know, he almost played in that season after hurting himself in that season.
21:44So I know that he was doing something right that was able to make him get back on the field that fast.
21:52So he's been a big part of being able to help me enjoy, you know, find myself and also understand what I
21:59need to do to get certain things feeling right.
22:03And, you know, I'm excited to play against him, man.
22:06We've talked a lot. And, you know, he was excited to play against me before we both got hurt.
22:12And, you know, I met him on my 21st birthday in Vegas when he was in Vegas for the Pro Bowl.
22:20So I sent him a picture when I was a kid, when I was 21 years old in college, just begging for
22:27a picture from Fred Warner to him. He got a good laugh out of it after our injury.
22:33So I'm excited to play the 49ers again. Just simply fact that, you know, I feel like I have a friend over there now.
22:42And I have a team that passed on me that I'm able to beat up on a little bit.
22:48So I love that. That's a little bit further down the line.
22:52In the present, you're doing stuff here with State Farm.
22:56I saw the commercial. I think you're a heck of an actor.
23:00I think you have a future. We could do like a Netflix, HBO, gritty crime kind of Sunday night show.
23:07I think you have a future. Tell me how fun it was to work with them and how fun it was to
23:14headbutt Mater D's and show us your acting chops.
23:17Yeah, I mean, it was awesome being able to be a part of that.
23:22You know, they've State Farm has really done a good job of, you know, creating a personal price plan for me and
23:30just allowing me to be who I am. You know, throughout that whole commercial, I was able to, you know, work with
23:37Jake and he was able to make me feel comfortable.
23:41And I think I kind of threw him off with some crazy stuff I was doing, like you said earlier.
23:47But he was somebody that helped me understand what State Farm is trying to do and create a personal price plan for so many different individuals.
23:56And that not all personal price plans are the same.
24:00And the fact that, you know, he was able to kind of understand that and help me with that and also make me feel comfortable on set.
24:09But it was awesome, man. I'm super excited to be a part of this thing with State Farm.
24:15And they've done a really good job of making me or allowing me to be who I am.
24:21I think you're a better actor than Mahomes. I know you're a better actor than Andy Reid.
24:27Kurt Signetti, he needs some work. Dude, you got a future in this.
24:32Don't give it up. Yeah, I go home sometimes.
24:35My mom or dad visit, you know, I tell him now I'm an actor first, football player second.
24:41So, you know, that was – it's obviously a joke.
24:44But I know if all else fails, I can at least try to get into acting at some point.
24:51Acting. He's got a future. He's also got a future week one on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

26:01I'm going to go with the Houston Texans. This is one of the most well-coached and professional teams I've ever been around.
26:08Got to spend some time with them in training camp.
26:12It was just remarkable. Even their walkthrough. Some of the crispest football I've seen.
26:16They're aggressive. They will lift the floor of whatever this offense is, and I expect the offense to improve.
26:23It's going to be a really fun group to watch this year.
26:27Okay, so I'm looking here. It's after the Bengals.
26:30It's the Lions and the Texans. They are tied for third.
26:34So Houston does make the list. And then the Cowboys.
26:37Someone picked the Cowboys, and someone picked the Eagles.
26:40Somebody actually picked the Cowboys. Funny. Okay. They're going to be good this year.
26:45I know they're going to be good. All right, time for one more thing before we go.
