Anytime a wide receiver's starting quarterback gets hurt, the wide receiver's value takes a dip, but the source is firmly in the camp that you just buy these elite wideouts at 75 cents on the dollar when their QB1 goes down. More often than not, you'll be glad you bought low on the elite talent. Wide receiver is the fantasy position the source believes is most dependent on player talent. Smith-Njigba is a clear target hog (11 targets, 45.8% share, 100% route participation) and showcased on Wednesday night the damage he can do when he gets the ball in his hands. Finished Week 1 with 8 catches for 122 yards and a touchdown. Was targeted on exactly half of Lock's 22 pass attempts. Dominant against zone coverage but 0-for-3 when targeted against man (0-for-2 specifically versus Christian Gonzalez). Had a career-high +35 yards after catch over expected. Target-volume floor looks safe every week, regardless of whoever is under center.
