Scored Denver's only touchdown of the game—a 19-yard catch on the opening scoring drive—on decent volume (5 targets, 4 catches, 43 yards). Revenge game next week at home versus the Jaguars. He's an interesting tight end flier if Pat Bryant is out.PositiveSleeperSep 10, 2026
Evan Engram is a great sleeper and streaming tight end option for Week 1, ranked TE27/152 overall. Last year was disappointing and he is on the waiver wire in many leagues. With Brock Bowers missing time after a meniscus trim, owners are scrambling to replace their early-round star. While Michael Mayer (ranked 166) is the easiest replacement, savvy owners have already snagged him. Denver has news that the goal is to get Engram more touches, which will help owners fill the void left by Bowers and possibly lead to seasonal success.NegativeProjectionAug 3, 2026
Engram signed with Denver in free agency last offseason with expectations of increased tight end targets. The Broncos finished last year with 114 tight end targets (ranking 19th in the NFL), with Engram accounting for 76. However, that didn't lead to fantasy success, as the veteran finished as TE29, averaging 6.4 PPR fantasy points per game. Fantasy players should anticipate similar results in 2026, especially after Denver traded multiple draft picks to acquire Jaylen Waddle this offseason and added depth at running back with Jonah Coleman.
