0:57We're here to run down the AFC West. And let's just get right to it in order of how they finished last year.
1:05And then we got our tiers that we're gonna break down.
1:09And we have the Denver Broncos. We have the Denver Broncos.
1:1314 and three record last year, Chef. Vegas over under total is nine and a half.
1:18So, you're thinking that's a playoff team. And then players added.
1:22Players lost. They've got Jonah Coleman coming in. Justin Jolie.
1:25Tight end behind Evan Ingram. And then, of course, the Jalen Waddle trade, where it was the first and the third.
1:33And then the fourth pick swap. A lot of investment by the Denver Broncos to acquire Jalen Waddell.
1:39So, Chef, why don't you break down, tell us about...
1:42You got Sean Payton, Davis Webb, the tendencies of how the Broncos are gonna go at things.
1:48Dude. Okay. So, this is the most interesting thing.
1:51So, this was one of the ones that... It's...
1:54The Sean Payton system, you're gonna target running backs quite a bit, almost at a league high rate.
2:01And you're going to run the piss out of the football.
2:04So, looking at what my adjusted projection is for them, I've got them at 595 attempts.
2:10Basically, 4,200 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, and 2,000 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns.
2:15So, 1,020 plays. It's fifth. And, essentially, what we're looking at here with the Broncos is just them bludgeoning you with volume.
2:23And consistently just taking the easy route in terms of, hey, I'm gonna get it to a really good athlete.
2:29And this is why I can no longer be a Jalen Waddell denier.
2:34I don't want to get too far ahead of myself here in talking about how I had to have a come-to-Jesus moment
2:42or come-to-whoever moment, you know, for those of you who aren't, whatever.
2:46But, anyway, I'm no longer a Jalen Waddell denier because there couldn't be a more perfect fit.
2:52I still think Cortland Sutton is massively, drastically underpriced.
2:55But this offense, if everybody's healthy, I feel like this is a lock for top-five offense.
3:00I mean, just right now, I've got Cortland Sutton pretty much with 21%, almost 22% target share.
3:06Jalen Waddell's at 21%. And then it kind of trickles down from there.
3:10But, yeah, I'm pretty excited about this. And the big thing here is Davis Webb was able to be retained by the
3:18Broncos because Sean Payton was willing to give up play-calling duties.
3:22So we're going to get to see it's new, but it's not new, but it's the new hotness because Davis Webb is now going to be calling plays.
3:31I'm sure that if it doesn't go well, he's going to pull, you know, Sean Payton's going to pull a Dan Campbell,
3:39Motor City Dan Campbell and take over and take his headset back.
3:43But, I mean, I feel like this is going to go pretty well.
3:48Davis Webb, former New York Giant, played in the NFL for a while, young, really young coordinator, supposed to be the new hotness.
3:56So we'll see. Well, it's like you're playing video games and it's like, hey, pass the sticks.
4:01Give me the opportunity to make the play calls.
4:05And you make a salient point about the continuity that's there for the Denver Broncos.
4:10They're knocking on the door to be Super Bowl contenders.
4:13And they've between them and the Buffalo Bills. I feel like it's going to show this season Broncos were willing to make
4:21the move that the Bills weren't going to give up a first round pick for Jalen Waddle.
4:27Damn the rival. Get the talent. Get the better player.
4:30Imagine Josh Allen with Jalen Waddle. And there was like a fear street element for the Buffalo Bills.
4:36So I love what you said about the Broncos.
4:39I'm very happy to hear about you being in on Jalen Waddle.
4:43I've been in on him actually last year. He was a buy for me because I was premonitioning.
4:50We had a show on another network where he was a buy last year.
4:54I thought, hey, this is going to show to fruition, but with the Dolphins.
4:59But I could not have foreseen this happening where it's the Broncos.
5:03And then there's that investment, Shev, where that's where teams don't lie.
5:08And that's what you got to go to. I'm loving it.
5:11So great call on Jalen Waddle and Cortland Sutton, not to be forgotten.
5:16RJ Harvey, four of the last five games last year, anywhere between 18 to 23 fancy points per game.
5:22Some of that goes back in the bottle with J.K.
5:26Dobbins and Jonah Coleman. So what's your outlook on the backfield for the Broncos next year?
5:31As long as as long as J.K. Dobbins is healthy, he's going to handle the lion's share of the dirty work.
5:39The the low red zone carries inside the five carries right now.
5:43I think I haven't projected for eight rushing touchdowns.
5:46We're going to assume that we get full healthy J.K.
5:49Dobbins or like I'm just going to I'm going to project that we get 15 games of J.K.
5:55Dobbins this year. That's the best I could do right now.
5:59So eight rushing touchdowns is where we is where we landed.
6:03He's going to handle most of that early down work.
6:06People forget that he was fifth in the fifth in the league and rushing before the injury.
6:12Seven or seventy two yards averaging five point one yards to carry.
6:16And RJ Harvey was essentially an afterthought. He's still like nine points a game.
6:21But J.K. Dobbins was the steal of drafts and scoring points all left, right and center.
6:27And we were all just like, all right, we'll just we just have to.
6:32Unfortunately, we just have to wait for something unfortunate to happen to him, in which case he got hip drop tackled was
6:39out for the rest of the season. And I just I think that as long as he's healthy, he's the most mispriced asset.
6:47I'm looking at I mean, I I would guess just without looking at the ADP, which I'm going to pull up.
6:54I mean, he's probably 10, probably 11th or 12th round.
6:58It's it's like nobody wants any piece of any piece of J.K.
7:02Dobbins whatsoever. So I are be 51 in the consensus rankings right now.
7:06Or in the in the expert rankings right now.
7:09Yeah, that's that's an absolute climb. And I got to say, I'm a huge Jonah Coleman person, 35 percent roster ship in the underdog best ball streets.
7:19But then also when we're talking dynasty, we're in a Debbie startup, Shev.
7:23I was able to get Jonah Coleman. I admit as much as I love Jonah Coleman, I am wish casting.
7:30I'm want casting to a large degree. Jonah Coleman for 2026.
7:34Now, beyond I'm very excited. I'm glad I have him.
7:37But I cannot guarantee because you spoke to there would have to be somewhat of that misfortune, which has occurred.
7:44J.K. Dobbins talks about, oh, it's just a fluke here, a fluke there.
7:49It's been a lot of flukes happening to J.K.
7:52Dobbins, but we wish him health. We know it's going to run through him.
7:57So you make the right point where it is an afterthought.
8:00R.J. Harvey to J.K. Dobbins. Jonah Coleman, it'll be the same thing.
8:05So the focus, you should take the veteran early, at least early in the season, lean on J.K.
8:11Dobbins. You want those early weeks if you need to sell in dynasty.
8:15I think maybe after September, if you're feeling a little bit shaky and reticent like, hey, this is going to blow up.
8:23It's going to go bad because it has in the past.
8:27But so long as J.K. Dobbins is playing, he's going to be all right.
8:31He's going to be awesome for your teams. Now, speaking of all right, awesome for your teams, the Los Angeles Charters.
8:39We have talked so much. We had an individual show for the entirety of that offense.
8:44They're the new craze, the hot craze in fantasy football.
8:48People are on them. It doesn't mean that it's somehow square because so many people are on them.
8:54They could just be amazing because I know you'll talk about Mike McDaniel.
8:58But let's revisit Chargers last year, 11 and six.
9:01Vegas has them nine and a half over under.
9:04So again, projecting that's playoff ability. Vacated air yards, 1132 in that offense.
9:09Vacated targets, 157. Vacated carries, 32. So who has shown up?
9:13Charlie Kohler, right? The guy who's going to nuke Aranda Gaston.
9:17Keaton Mitchell, where there were those wanted posters from Mike McDaniel.
9:20Devon H.N. Light, right? Alec Engel, that fullback. And then David Njoku.
9:24Hey, the Chargers brought in two tight ends to compete with Aranda Gaston.
9:29They lose Tyler Conklin. And they're going through nothing real fantasy wise in the draft.
9:34Shy of somebody you love, Brennan Thompson. So tell us, Shev.
9:38In the AFC West here, the Chargers, you got Jimothy Harbaugh, Mike McDaniel.
9:42How's it going to break down? Well, I mean, are we talking about their pants selections?
9:48Like I've got, I've got, I've got Mike McDaniel wearing powder blue, powder blue capri pants every week.
9:54And then I've got just traditional old, old school missionary khakis for, you know, for Mr.
10:00Mr. Khaki's hardball, Jimothy, as you refer to him.
10:03Hear that? That's now Crispy and McCrispy Strips meeting creamy Caesar sauce.
10:07Sounds extra crispy. Caesar sauce at McDonald's for a limited time.
10:11The thing with this offense is we think that this has been a Ferrari under the carport meme with, with all the weapons.
10:19So bringing Mike McDaniel in, you have a guy who's got a history of coaching elite receivers.
10:24I mean, his, he broke into the league coaching, you know, coaching Andre Johnson.
10:29And that's kind of where he started to make his bones.
10:33And you've seen the clips of him talking to Quentin Johnston about the details of the position and hey, I want you to focus on this.
10:42And then what will come from this is this.
10:45So the one thing that we know is Mike McDaniel is a phenomenal teacher.
10:50The, the underrated aspect of all of this, I feel like I veered off of what your actual question was, but we're going to stay with it.
10:59So the beautiful thing about this is his offenses have, when they work well and they function at a high level, when
11:07they have a quarterback who's not shell shot, they're fourth or fifth in the league and yak.
11:13So those prime Miami dolphins years. And now you've just been waiting for an innovative passing, you know, innovative mind to come in.
11:20And I think they're going to be at about 58 to 64% 11 personnel.
11:25I think that's what I have them at. And then, you know, outside of that, a whole bunch of 12 personnel.
11:33So we're going to get it. I think what we get here is we're going to get a Rondé Gaston operating potentially as the big slot.
11:42You've got Lad McConkie and Quentin Johnston on the outside, potentially.
11:45I don't know if they, I don't, we're, we'll talk about where you think they land as far as signing a vet.
11:53I know me, you and Peter, Pete had had Peter.
11:56It's such a, such a podcast for the unaffiliated.
11:59That's right. Podcast. He was on a low, he's on a Wednesday live.
12:04So, you know, the 12 personnel, I think this, this is just going to be really, really good for all parties involved.
12:11And the biggest thing that I could, the biggest takeaway from this is they're going to play with pace.
12:18They're going to give their athletes a unique opportunity in terms of personnel groupings and their ability, like accentuating their abilities to do things cool with the football.
12:28So by Justin Herbert is the overall takeaway, but I think McDaniel brings an element of just, I'm going to fit the,
12:35I'm going to fit the puzzle to what you do.
12:39Well, I'm not going to make you fit into the puzzle.
12:42And that's what kind of excites me about this offense.
12:46Hey, ancillary parts. I was on another show talking about the rise of Zay Flowers and how much Elijah Surratt and Jacoby
12:53Lane are actually going to help somebody like Zay Flowers.
12:57And this is a real NFL take. This is real NFL stuff, not just ancillary.
13:02Hey, focus narrow. This player, Lab McConkie, this player, Quinton Johnson is on my fantasy team.
13:08And you don't think of anything else teammate wise, NFL wise, team wise.
13:12Brennan Thompson is going to stretch defenses. Keith Mitchell is going to be a threat to keep people off balance.
13:19Main message there by Justin Herbert, but it's going to help everyone.
13:23It's going to help a Rondé Gaston. It's going to help Lab McConkie.
13:28You spoke to it before where Lab McConkie has talked about Justin Herbert based on where the ball is placed.
13:34That's where Lab McConkie knows the defender is. So you're only going to buoy that with somebody like Mike McDaniel.
13:41And if Tua can throw 45, 4700 passing yards, you're telling me that Justin Herbert isn't going to be a threat to throw 5000 passing yards this season.
13:51So again, it just points back to that. And we know Quinton Johnson, the first month.
13:56All right. Last season, 25 points, 16, 15, 23.8 hot out of the gate.
14:01First month. And Mike McDaniel has talked about getting all the receivers that includes tight ends to get to their career highs.
14:09Quinton Johnson presents a tremendous value. We are Trey Harris truthers, but we have to understand that just like J.K.
14:16Dobbins in front of Jonah Coleman. You have Quinton Johnson ahead of Trey Harris.
14:21Now, Chef, you had kind of teased it. Are you trying to angle towards Keenan Allen spoiling part of this party?
14:28Do you think somebody ends up signing with the Chargers?
14:31Dude, I am. I am hoping against hope that we just get to run out with what exactly they have out there
14:39right now and that they feel like they have enough because to me, all of the pieces are there for them to to be an elite offense.
14:48Obviously, Keenan Allen provides familiarity, comfort and stability for, you know, for Justin Herbert.
14:53We saw that. Excuse me. He was at a higher targets per out run than Lab McConkie last year.
15:00So it's really interesting to me to pontificate on them trying to sign, you know, them trying to sign a note like trying to sign Keenan Allen.
15:09That's the only one that I'm really, truly concerned about because there is just so much love and he's a ring of honor player.
15:17And there's so much rapport between, you know, he and Justin Herbert that he kind of comes in and throws a monkey
15:25wrench in all these plans because he's probably going to play.
15:28He's probably going to play outside in the two wide receiver sets.
15:33They're going to use quite a bit. He's probably going to play.
15:37Yeah, he's probably going to siphon targets away from the ceiling outcomes of Lad McConkie and Arande Gadsden.
15:43I actually Quentin Johnston was like wide receiver for with with him in the lineup last year.
15:49So it might be good for Quentin Johnston and just kind of bad for everybody else.
15:54So I hope that that's not the case. But at the same time, I can't we can't say with any sort of
16:02certainty as they they get they near training camp that they don't bring in.
16:07You know, they don't bring him back as that stable veteran presence to kind of keep, you know, to kind of keep the boat moving forward.
16:16Prediction time. Stefan Diggs signs with the team. Let's say it's the commanders.
16:20The player I think is more likely is going to be Stefan Diggs to get a contract.
16:26You're Keenan Allen, though. Let's prediction game theory. This 34 years of age, be it going back to the Chicago Bears.
16:33That's how he spoke after being with the Bears.
16:36I'm either with the Bears or the Chargers kept his options tight.
16:40I think he liked the growth that was going to happen in Chicago.
16:45Then, of course, going back home to the Chargers where you spoke to.
16:49He's built such an illustrious career. I see Keenan Allen game theory sitting on the sidelines.
16:55A lot of large numbers tells us amongst Brennan Thompson, QJ, Lat McConkie, Trey Harris.
17:00There's going to be some sort of an injury at some point in the season.
17:05And this is a team that has Super Bowl aspirations.
17:09So you start thinking in increments of 18 to 20 plus weeks where it's the build up to the Super Bowl.
17:16It's, hey, I'm playing year by year. Look at what Aaron Donald is doing with trying to come back to the NFL.
17:23Will he come back immediately or will he wait a month halfway in?
17:28You're pacing yourself. You're ramping yourself up because the objective.
17:31Meanwhile, we want fantasy football. We're thinking about how this is going to impact.
17:36Keenan Allen, while he's playing with his piano keys because he's a good piano player, he's probably thinking about the long term
17:44viability of a Super Bowl run out. So the pace might not be to our calendar where we think, oh, it's going
17:51to pick up immediately in training camp. It's going to pick up immediately for week one.
17:57There may be some time later to this. So I think for right now, Mark safe from Keenan Allen and then the Chargers.
18:05We're going to get the run out that we want.
18:08So that's my prediction. Sounds like your team. He's going to sign Keenan Allen soon.
18:13I'm team. I think he's going to monitor on the sidelines, get the Chargers right of first refusal.
18:20He wants to contend. He's got options. He's not just going to sign anywhere per se.
18:25Now, speaking of having options and being a win now team, a team that we're used to being there who didn't because
18:33they had some injuries with Patrick Mahomes last year, a six and 11 record for the Kansas City Chiefs.
18:39We're used to year in, year out, the Chiefs being perennial Super Bowl contenders.
18:44And it's funny enough, third place in their own division.
18:47It's a loaded division chef, AFC West, 10 and a half wins over under Vegas totals.
18:53So that's higher than the Broncos and the Chargers.
18:56Vegas is expecting the Chiefs to come back. We're hearing a lot more positive buzz about Mahomes for week one.
19:03There's 167 vacated targets, 288 vacated targets. Kenneth Walker, 1,032 vacated air yards for the Chiefs.
19:09Of note, players added Kenneth Walker, Amari Di Mercado, don't sleep on him.
19:13And then they lost Gardner Minshew, Marquise Brown, Isaiah Pacheco went to the Detroit Lions, Robert Tanyan.
19:19And then as far as draft capital, Emma Johnson, round five, another back to go with Kenneth Walker, Cyrus Allen in round five, Garrett Nussmeyer in round seven.
19:28So how are things going to run with Eric Biennemi now coming back to the Chiefs, Chez?
19:34I think we get some sort of a semblance of a return to the Legion of Legion of Zoom.
19:41You know, they brought back Tyquan Thornton. He was their their primary deep threat.
19:46Rasheed Rice was doing all the cheap underneath stuff.
19:49The quote unquote PPR scam that everybody's gotten. So gotten so just super condescending about like regardless of how he scores fantasy scores, 18 fantasy points a game.
19:58And let's he's he's clearly capable. And the team feels like it's a plus move to give him the ball.
20:05So let's just knock that nonsense out. But for me, it signals it signals a return of them playing more playing to
20:13get more over the top, to have more one play touchdowns or to borrow a Madden term or just trying to return to being explosive.
20:22So we hopefully we're hoping that they've completely shored up the O line.
20:26Obviously, Josh Simmons was a huge hit at left tackle.
20:29Hopefully with his with everything that's going on with him, he had to step away from a family thing.
20:36I fully believe my homes is going to be ready for week one.
20:40And I mean, he's a type of psychopath that absolutely would would try to push himself almost to the point of of
20:48of danger to to be on the field. Now.
20:51The beautiful thing about this is Eric B enemy has been behind some of the most some of the most historic running
20:59back seasons besides being a historic run like an awesome collegiate running back and having you know, having success in the NFL himself.
21:07He was a running back coach for Arian Peterson's 2000 yard season.
21:11He's gotten the best out of DeAndre Swift after many people thought that DeAndre Swift just could not figure out how to
21:18pass protect and or just run straight between the tackles.
21:22So I think he returned. This is a this is kind of a familiarity thing where like you saw Keenan Allen go
21:29to the Bears and that felt weird. And he goes back to the charges and has it in it like, oh, this this feels right.
21:38So I think Eric B enemy getting Matt now, Matt Al Nagyb out of there or, you know, and him going to New York.
21:46I think Eric B enemy returns a standard of excellence.
21:50I mean, the last the last year that he was with the Chiefs, my homes was at eight point one yards in the temp.
21:58I believe his high under Matt now, not give was seven point four.
22:02So this is just to me a return the signaling a return.
22:07And we all know what Patrick my homes is like and this is a motivated out for blood.
22:13I'm going to prove to you that I'm still the best quarterback in the NFL Patrick my home.
22:19So this environment with Eric B enemy coming back with the Rishi Rice in a contract year with them spending big money
22:27on Kenneth Walker, all of that signals to me that they're going back to they're going back to trying to generate explosive
22:34plays and then also be able to bludgeon you with the run game.
22:39Yeah. And with Rishi Rice, the hate has gone way too far.
22:43All the PPR scam nonsense. Well, they throw him the damn ball all the time.
22:48And you know what is talent throwing to him in the red zone.
22:52His skill set contributes to that for another player.
22:55We would call that a star stud player in fantasy football.
22:59So I don't know why we're misattributing those things for Rishi Rice.
23:03I think it's solely because he's been in trouble and there's bias towards that.
23:08It's correct to be frustrated with the off field intersections with law enforcement for Rishi Rice.
23:14But the talent on the field, it's night and day.
23:17I think he's phenomenal. And I think it's just gotten too in vogue to just say that he's overrated and not really that good of a player.
23:26I think that's nonsense. The damn chiefs think highly of him.
23:30What should that tell any of us? Who are we to question Andy Reid and Eric B enemy and company?
23:37Patrick Mahomes, seven, 400, 4,000. Sorry, passing yard seasons to where he hit 5k.
23:42Last year, after he missed the last couple of games, he would have hit another 4,000 yard passing season.
23:48Then Travis Kelsey from 2016 to 2023. He was either first or second in fancy points per game.
23:55I think we get a deck cap bounce season with Eric B enemy.
23:59All the concepts are there. Personnel has not really upgraded so much.
24:03Again, that's faith in Rishi Rice. It's a lot of faith in Travis Kelsey.
24:08So last season, he was fourth and targets. Fifth and air yards with 735 Travis Kelsey.
24:14Second and deep targets for tight end. Second and routes run at 525.
24:18So there's going to be a balance between the 288 vacated carries.
24:22And will this offense run more through Kenneth Walker?
24:25But I see a lot of great things happening.
24:28And there's value playing dynasty for Travis Kelsey. And then Rishi Rice.
24:33And if you want to employ in a startup, the youth with a veteran player like Travis Kelsey, go and get yourself a Sadiq.
24:41Go and get yourself a Stowers. Go and get a Terrence Ferguson and pair them with somebody like Travis Kelsey.
24:48You give that player time to develop while they're young.
24:51So let's go to the Raiders now, Shev. 3-14 last season.
24:55Vegas win total over under 5.5 wins. So not a huge bump up.
24:59Should be interesting with only 5.5 wins. I imagine they're trotting out right now.
25:04Kirk Cousins is going to start the entirety of the season.
25:08I don't buy it one bit. I see week five, week six, Fernando Mendoza.
25:13But vacated targets, vacated carries, vacated air yards. The vacated air yards, 252.
25:17And then you had added players, added players, lost Jalen Naylor at the wide receiver position, who we love from Minnesota.
25:25Got the bag for himself. Kirk Cousins, Connor Hayward.
25:28And then they lost Kenny Pickett. Of course, they take Fernando Mendoza in round one.
25:33But surprisingly enough, Shev, aside from Malik Benson in round six, and then Mike Washington Jr., the running back that we love
25:40from Arkansas, running back in round four behind Ashton Janty.
25:44We didn't really get much love for the Raiders for the receiving room.
25:48Tell us what you expect from Clint Kubiak, Andrew Johnico, and this Raiders offense shy of not really having much beyond Bowers and Janty.
25:57Well, the first thing, the biggest thing is I expect them to run the piss out of the football.

26:34I fully believe that we're in for a special, special season from Ashton Janty.
26:39And they spin up, they spin up on Tyler Linderbaum gave him the biggest, the biggest free agent contract for a center
26:46or excuse me, just the biggest contract for a center in NFL history.
26:51Now, does that mean he's the best center? No, it just means that they make more money now than they ever have.
26:58But this is going to be a drastic upgrade.
27:01So you have you have Andrew Janico, who was the passing game and tight ends coach coordinator coming over from Minnesota.
27:09You saw TJ Hawkinson have his career renaissance season before before getting injured.
27:13Andrew Janico was behind that. Now you have Brock Bowers, who had a 20 nearly a 24 percent target share in 2024 or 2025 in limited action.
27:22And he was second in air yards, I believe.
27:25So you have proof of concept. Clint Kubiak off of the Shanahan tree, off of his, you know, off of the off of the just I don't know.
27:35Is it like a forest at this point of NFL coaches that come from that tree?
27:41You've seen what they've been able to do with George Kittle.
27:44Well, we don't we're going to get the ceiling outcome for a George Kittle style player because Brock Bowers isn't going to be asked to block.
27:53In that manner. George Kittle, one of the most one of the highest in line rate tight ends.
28:00Brock Bowers was the second highest in slot rate among tight ends last year.
28:04So you have a guy who does a lot of wide receiver things and you don't have, as you mentioned, a threat
28:12or not even a threat, but a meaningful. A meaningful.
28:15They spent modest money on for what you would pay for a wide receiver on Jalen Naylor.
28:21And I think he's going to be really good.
28:24But I think this lends us an opportunity to get Brock Bowers and get one hundred and fifty to one hundred and sixty targets in a team.
28:34You know, for a team that's going to run the ball probably more than they throw the ball this year.
28:41And I we don't have to have a ton of volume as long as a twenty four percent target share is going to a tight end.
28:49So whatever Trey McBride just did, I think Brock Bowers could do this year.
28:54I think Ashton Gentry is going to perform really well.
28:58I don't know. I don't think this team's going to be very good, but they could be further along the curve because
29:05they got Max Crosby back and he's one of the biggest difference makers in football.
29:10So all that being said, the biggest thing that they've upgraded that makes me excited is they brought in Rick Dennison, former
29:18Broncos offensive line coach, was the offensive line coach in Minnesota for quite some time.
29:23But seven out of the 10 years, seven out of the 10 years that he's been an offensive line coach, he's fostered a top 10 run game.
29:33Now, with Jackson Powers Johnson moving over to guard with, you know, with Linderbaum coming in, if they're able to shore this
29:40up and get to league average, Ashton Gentry is going to go crazy.
29:45This is going to be incredible. And I don't like we're going to see heavy targets to the running back, heavy targets to the tight end.
29:54So he could get 90 targets and 275, maybe 300 carries.
29:57Oh, he's going to go with the curse of 370.
30:01Ashton Gentry is awesome. We should all just enjoy that and stop, you know, trying to find reasons why it's not going to be good.
30:09So hopefully that kind of answers your question. We're not going to get a bunch of multiple wide receiver looks.
30:16There's not a ton of 11 personnel going on here.
30:20We saw that last year. I think that carries over.
30:23They're going to be one of the highest rates, if not the highest rate of 12 personnel because of Michael Mayer.
30:30And, you know, he's a really good player in his own right.
30:35He's just not a generational talent like Brock Bauer.
30:38So all that said, that's kind of what I expect from the Raiders this year.
30:43And that's this is one of the more underrated environments that I want to click the buttons on early in drafts and just or even late.
30:52Kirk Cousins, you go zero QB. Kirk Cousins starts 12 games or starts the whole season like Tom Brady wants him to.
30:59What does that look like? It's probably pretty good.
31:02And you're going to you know, he's going to throw the ball.
31:07You know, he's going to throw the ball to running back in the tight end quite a bit.
31:13So long soliloquy aside, that's where I have that's that's kind of what I have for the Raiders.
31:19And I think that I think that I'll see the floor to you and take back over.
31:25I love it. Jalen Naylor. I think you're going to get an opportunity where he just has a couple of game run
31:32out and you're going to be able to sell irrationally somewhere in Dynasty.
31:37He'll be one of the waiver wire players that we cover early on in the season because he probably won't be drafted in redraft.
31:45And he'll have a couple of good games and be like, oh, crap.
31:50Who are the Raiders throwing to? Who are their wide receivers?
31:53Much like people are trying to solve the conundrum of the Miami Dolphins, who's going to be their wide receiver one.
32:01You're going to get some of that for the Raiders.
32:04Be it, though, Shev. Great point. And that transitions us to our rankings.
32:09We've put in our little playground, Shev, the AFC West rankings.
32:12You and I both have Brock Bowers and Ashton Janty at the top.
32:17And we love that. As you were talking about, narrow tree for the Raiders is going to run through Bowers, run through Janty.
32:25Funny enough, the lowest over under total win total projected by Vegas next year at five and a half just tells me
32:32it's going to be slapdick city as far as shootouts.
32:36And running the ball back because the defense is going to give up so many points.
32:41It's going to be a lot of points to be had in garbage time, which is going to be great for us.
32:49And you talk about gambling. It's going to be a great thing to bet on for 2026.
32:55So I've got Bowers, Janty. The rest of my tier in tier one, Justin Herbert, Patrick Mahomes, O'Marion Hampton, Bo Nix.
33:02I have six players in there. You have five.
33:05After you go Janty, you flip flop with me on Mahomes and Herbert.
33:09Then you go Bo Nix. So I've got Hampton in tier one.
33:14You and I are flip flopped on Herbert and Mahomes.
33:17Tell me why you've got Mahomes, Herbert, Bo Nix, three, four and five in tier one.
33:23So to me, this this is the cheapest that Patrick Mahomes has been in quite some time.
33:28And because of the fact that, you know, we we did get a ton of rushing utility, I believe five point one
33:36six points per game from rushing, which is a career high.
33:40It's normally around two point eight to two point nine points a game for his rushing totals.
33:46He's I mean, as a career high, four hundred twenty two yards, five touchdowns.
33:50So I think we get the trade off of him just being a nuke as a as a passer.
33:57Like, I genuinely believe that the outcome that we're hoping for for Justin Herbert, I think Patrick Mahomes is going to be hell bent on giving us that.
34:07And he's set up to do so. And there's not going to be an element of like, hey, is it like, you
34:14know, it's his show and you know that he has a point to prove.
34:19So that's kind of why I have it here.
34:22And I mean, being 30 years old doesn't really doesn't concern me at all.
34:27And funny enough, I'm flip flopped of you where I have them both back to back.
34:32But I've got Justin Herbert being the run out this year, the quarterback that you want.
34:38And funny enough, he can have is because I envision Justin Herbert having a Patrick Mahomes like season.
34:44So full compliments there to Patrick Mahomes. I see it running out perfectly the offensive environment.
34:50So a lot more depth pieces than the Kansas City Chiefs.
34:53I know we spoke to the confidence in Kelsey, the confidence in Rashi Rice bringing in Kenneth Walker.
35:00I think the Chiefs could have afforded a little bit more.
35:03And we may see a signing out there that supports that later in the offseason.
35:09But right now, all things point to the new trendiness being the Chargers, Mike McDaniel.
35:14That's where I'm going to put Justin Herbert just above Patrick Mahomes.
35:18That does for me, it arrears to market where Herbert goes ahead of sometimes Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes.
35:24Funny enough, two guys who were just in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago are kind of being pushed further and further down the pendulum.
35:34So I think to your point, Shev, that's where you're saying, hey, this is too low.
35:39So I'm there with you, but I've got Herbert just above him.
35:43Now in the next tier, second tier, where I have Omerian Hampton in tier one.
35:49And this is kind of how our second year players went because I had Hampton higher.
35:54You had Tedaroa and we flipped them back and forth.
35:58You've got Hampton in this one with Ken Walker, Fernando Mendoza, Ladd McConkie.
36:02I've got Walker, Mendoza and McConkie in tier two.
36:05So tell us what puts Hampton in tier two here.
36:09And between he and Kenneth Walker, what's the difference?
36:12Where he's just slightly, I mean, he's young enough to where it's two years makes a slight difference in their, you know, in their outlook to me.
36:21Just slightly. Just because we're not going to have to deal with the age accusations for, you know, for a little bit longer than we would.
36:30You know, he's got Kenneth Walker's on a second contract.
36:33I don't knock that, but just we're getting to a point where only he'll only have value to certain teams on, you
36:41know, in a, in a dynasty build. So that's here goes.
36:45Mario and Hampton, Kenneth Walker, Fernando Mendoza, Ladd McConkie, and then in scene.
36:49So I just, I think these guys are all, all guys that are going to continue to ascend in value.
36:56They're not, we're not quite there yet in like, there's a world where next year, all of these guys could potentially be
37:04in tier one, or we just have to kind of break up and have a different there, but all I have to
37:11say we have, it's a slightly different, it's a slightly different approach, but I think these are all guys that are going to ascend in value.
37:20So I'm right there with you. And I think with Fernando Mendoza, there's that insulation of he's 22 years old, number one overall draft pick.
37:29So we put him 11 overall, the next year in tier three, I've gone, this is kind of funny enough.
37:36I'm actually ahead of you on Rashi Rice and you're ahead of me on Jalen Waddle.
37:41Cause I go Rice, Waddle and Gaston and your tier two is Waddle, Rice, Gaston, Harvey.
37:47So I'll speak a little bit later on why I've got Harvey down lower in another tier, but chef, what has you
37:54commanding and loving Jalen Waddle over Rashi Rice in 2026?
37:58Well, it's a point that you hit really well earlier.
38:01And it's that teams don't, teams don't lie about what their intentions are with a player when they, when they start giving up draft capital.
38:10So that was a positive enough signal for me.
38:13That offense is a high octane enough offense and takes enough, you know, take enough deep shots.
38:19Courtland Sutton, I believe was like second or third and catches the 20 plus yards.
38:24Excuse me. In 2020 and 2025. So I Waddle's a hand in glove fit for this offense is because he encapsulates everything
38:31that you're trying to get from Pat Bryant, from Troy Franklin, from Marvin Mims.
38:36You just roll it into a guy like Jalen Waddle.
38:40This guy turbo boosters. And we have the multi-year contract security.
38:44Obviously, if Rashi Rice was not in his own way, he would probably be in tier one.
38:49But if it was a fifth, my aunt had balls.
38:53She'd be my uncle. Whatever you want to say here.
38:56I, it's just, it just is what it is.
38:59And with Rondé Gadsden, I'm calling my shot. I'm staying staunch.
39:03I think that with the way that they're going to utilize multiple tight end sets, that he could be one of the
39:11biggest benefactors on a weekend week out basis, because who's a bigger mismatch than the converted wide receiver playing tight end.
39:18And then RJ Harvey, I'm not willing. Sean Payton, as I mentioned before, targets a running back at the highest clip in
39:26the league over the course of the last three or four years.
39:30Now, I know it's Davis Webb, but I don't think that that's going to go out the window with the type of
39:37offensive success they've had over the last few years.
39:40So that's kind of why my tier is what it is.
39:44For the Rice Waddle, for me having Rice over Waddle, but they're back to back.
39:49I have, as simple as I have Patrick Mahomes just ahead of Bone X.
39:54When it's Sunday, week three, seven, ten, about four o'clock, and I'm watching the game, I am just more excited and thrall
40:02in expecting of Rashi Rice to print those points.
40:05More to a guarantee, more of a surety than Jalen Waddle.
40:09There's still a little degree of we haven't seen it all come together for Jalen Waddle.
40:14And we've seen, as long as he's on the field, Rashi Rice get fed, unadulterated, number one wide receiver.
40:21But I'm predicting a big year for Jalen Waddle.
40:24That's where it's just neck and neck, very razor-thin margin.
40:27I've got Rashi Rice ahead of Jalen Waddle. In respect to a guy who was tight end one for a month straight,
40:35Aranda Gaston, I'm not worried at all about any quote-unquote tight end competition out there.
40:40I think it's reckless. And meanwhile, though, it's suppressing the price and dynasty on Aranda Gaston.
40:45But I do have to speak down to my next tier.
40:49I've got Xavier Worthy, Quentin Johnson, R.J. Harvey, Jonah Coleman in tier four.
40:54For me, Harvey, I still like him. I love him.
40:57But I can't put him up there in the Rice, Waddle, Gaston tier because they have proven it.
41:03They have a good skill set. But Harvey, I see circumstance changing for him where he was a circumstance play where we
41:11got Dobbins, as we spoke to, out of the way and it benefited Harvey.
41:16But then we ran into a wall in the playoffs.
41:19And that's where North-South running, R.J. Harvey couldn't get the hard yards that the team needed for real NFL.
41:26And then that hurts because they brought in Jonah Coleman.
41:29I have Jonah Coleman just below R.J. Harvey. But I have to acknowledge Harvey's got the edge on him for right now.
41:37Now, Harvey's one of those players, though, you don't want to miss out in the event that he keeps running pure fantasy-wise.
41:44And we keep getting utilization in the offense in the pass game run through him out of the backfield.
41:51So you need to take it to ride the ride.
41:54That's where I do have Harvey, respectively, in this next tier above Jonah Coleman.
41:59But then for you, you've got QJ, Xavier Worthy, and Jonah Coleman.
42:03So you and I are flipped on Worthy in Quentin Johnson.
42:07So tell me, why do you have Quentin Johnson over Worthy to my Worthy over Quentin Johnson?
42:13I just, I think that all the things that Xavier Worthy is good at, Quentin Johnson is also good at.
42:20And he's carved out more of a role and more trust from Justin Herbert than I believe Worthy has with Patrick Mahomes.
42:27And I think this is going to be, I mean, it's bag season for QJ.
42:33So I'm more inclined to, I'm more inclined to believe they're going to do everything to get this man the football and get him paid.
42:41Again, harken back to what the viral clip of what Mike McDaniel was telling him.
42:46It's clear that he's a part of their plan.
42:49It's just whether or not he actualizes this. So I'm starting, like I said, I've had some aggressive visions about Quentin Johnson.
42:57It's come a long way. I'm not fully sold, but I just think that, yeah, this is the opportunity that we've been
43:05looking for for quite some time for Quentin Johnson.
43:08Next, we have tier five, Trey Harris on an island.
43:11You and I both, duplicative of each other, enjoy and love Trey Harris, but he's kind of in his own spot because
43:19he's special, but he's not quite there. He needs some things to unwrap for him.
43:24But the next year, Travis Kelsey, J.K. Dobbins, Cortland Sutton, Justin Jolie, Jalen Naylor.
43:29We have that order. Your one flip for me is you have Sutton just above J.K.
43:34Dobbins. So tell me, Shev, any good word on Travis Kelsey and why would you have Cortland Sutton over J.K.
43:41Dobbins if the expectation is the backfield runs through J.K.
43:45Dobbins? It's a two-year deal for J.K. Dobbins, but they can get out after this year if he gets injured again.
43:52So it's essentially like a one-year, $8 million deal for J.K.
43:56Dobbins. If he goes out and performs, then we're locked and loaded for this year, and it kind of solidifies his year-over-year value while pushing R.J.
44:04Harvey down. I still think R.J. Harvey's going to catch 50 or 60 passes this year, and he has an opportunity to get better.
44:13That's why he was in a higher tier. And then with Travis Kelsey and Cortland Sutton, it's just Travis Kelsey has regressed
44:20back to being a normal tight end. He's probably going to finish between tight end six and tight end eight in total
44:28points and then be like a top eight tight end in points per game.
44:33It's just old reliable at this point. There's just not the ceiling yak ability.
44:38His athleticism has faded, but his mind's still super sharp.
44:41You hear the greats talk about just when you got it all figured out, your body just quits on you.
44:48Travis Kelsey's body hasn't quit on him. He's got it figured out.
44:52He's got one of the best coaches of all time.
44:55He's got one of the best quarterbacks of all time.
44:59So value-wise, he's here. But production-wise, he's going to be another solid tight end.
45:04If we get just a horde of maybe six more touchdowns, a regression in favor for Travis Kelsey, I don't see how
45:11he can't be the tight end two overall and push for challenge to be the tight end one overall.
45:18It's wild how Eric Biennemi is going to come through and we're going to get an old boss, same as a new
45:25boss, one more year of some Travis Kelsey goodness where he's up in that elite tier.
45:31I really think he's just one of the screaming values in fantasy football right now.
45:36And it's funny because five years ago, you'd say, what?
45:40This day will never come. Well, that day is here where I have to prognosticate something like that.
45:46Very big fan of him. Where I have Dobbins ahead of Sutton is more for the fact that I'm pro Jalen Waddell
45:53and I'm just so excited, Shev, and invested in this backfield.
45:57I love the Denver Broncos backfield. I, from my plums, I love some Jonah Coleman.
46:02But you got me in last year onto RJ Harvey.
46:06So I've got Harvey in some spots. I'm not fully out on him.
46:10I'm just not, the belief isn't fully there, but I understand the runout where if I'm wrong, I want to have a piece.
46:18So spoken to that, JK Dobbins, I got to give him the respect.
46:23So long as he's getting the rock, he's going to be fine.
46:27It's just a matter of, does he get injured?
46:30Does he hold up for the entirety of the season?
46:33Because if you're tied to Sean Payton and you're getting deference, much like Sean McVay with Kyron Williams, if you're getting the
46:41deference, that's all that matters in fantasy football. So a screaming value again for Dobbins, age 27.
46:47Shev, I'll read through the last tier that we have and tell me any of these players.
46:53They stand out to you for this season. We got Jack Betch, Mike Washington, Keith Mitchell, Emmitt Johnson, David Njoku.
46:59Any thoughts on them for 2026? Ooh, boss. Okay.
47:03So I am an unabashed Emmitt Johnson fan. He was my RB2 in this class.
47:08But also, brother, brother. I love Omari Di Mercado.
47:11Absolutely love Omari Di Mercado. He's all the things Emmitt Johnson is.
47:15And we have proof of concept of him being an explosive running back with a great pass catching profile.
47:21So I'm a little bit, I'm a little bit tenuous on the fact that Emmitt Johnson could come in and steal touches.
47:29I think Omari Di Mercado, once training camp opens, is going to establish himself as the RB2 and give us what I
47:37hoped for with Brashard Smith in that pass catching role.
47:40So if you can hear my voice right now, you should just be throwing in or trying to pick up Omari Di Mercado off waivers.
47:49Because if anything happens to Kenneth Walker, he's going to, if they're throwing the ball to the running back the way that
47:56they have in the past, he's going to be the guy that is, that pops up out of nowhere that we get into week two or week three.
48:06And he's caught 13 or 14 passes. And you look up in your points per game and he's 11 or 12 points
48:13per game because he's catching four balls a game.
48:17So yeah, that's kind of, that's, I'm a little bearish just because I think Omari Di Mercado is going to have a bigger role than what people think.
48:26And for a health standpoint, pure run out. We love Kenneth Walker, but he really did have the nut run out last season.
48:34We're so used to a ankle soreness DNP on Wednesday, DNP on Thursday, all limited practice on Friday or anything oblique.
48:41You see those two out there for Kenneth Walker and it's just nightmare fuel from Wednesday all the way sometimes through to Sunday.
48:49You have to be ready to weather that storm.
48:52So I love the play that you made that you mentioned beyond Emma Johnson, Mary Di Mercado.
