0:00It seems like, uh,
0:01you know, things have been trending
0:02towards him playing for
0:04a while, and if he does miss,
0:07he would be back shortly, you know, it
0:10quickly into the season. Um,
0:13yeah, it it it's all seemed pretty
0:14positive for Gentry,
0:16which, you know, given how
0:19concerning the initial injury was, this
0:21this is like truly, truly best-case
0:23scenario stuff.
0:24Um, and he's a guy I've been taking,
0:27uh, you know, in the in the mid to late
0:29second.
0:31Sometimes even the early second, you
0:32know, that kind of 203, 204 range. I
0:34I've taken him there, too.
0:36Um,
0:37getting kind of combos that I'm like,
0:39"Oh, yeah, this is this is fun, you
0:40know, let me get Let me get a JSN
0:42Gentry, that's fun, you know, that kind
0:43of thing." So, uh, I am also optimistic
0:47myself on on what happens with Gentry
0:49now. Uh, the Mike Washington
0:52uh, preseason definitely
0:55was of note,
0:57uh, but I still think that Gentry
1:00his ability to operate as a receiving
1:02game weapon,
1:03and frankly, just being like an
1:05otherworldly college prospect compared
1:07to Washington, like the difference in in
1:09what those two did in college really
1:12is hard to overstate. So,
1:14I think it's very likely that Gentry's a
1:16better back, uh, in pretty much every
1:18facet.
1:19>> Yeah, I think if if we had seen
1:22a 100% healthy Ashton Gentry against
1:25like
1:26backup
1:27>> Yeah, I think we would have liked what
1:28we saw.
1:29>> third-string freaking defenses. Yeah,
1:32there's there's just a gigantic
1:34talent gap between those two, and, uh,
1:39like you're
1:40you'd be so like what does Mike
1:42Washington Jr. do better
1:44than Ashton Gentry?
1:46>> I mean, I think he literally has like a
1:48faster 10-yard split, you know, that
1:50kind of that kind of thing. Like his
1:52ability to accelerate is probably
1:54slightly better,
1:55but he was like not a good breakaway
1:57runner in college. So,
1:59and Jente was.
2:01Um
2:01I think yeah, against real defenses, I
2:04suspect that the gap
2:07is actually quite clear.
2:09>> Yeah, I
2:10I think considering that, like how could
2:14Mike Washington be anything really other
2:16than like kind of a
2:18breather back for the Raiders.
2:20>> He's sort of Zamir White coded to me,
2:22you know. He's a big dude. He gets
2:25moving, but I'm not
2:27Kalen Ballage was a comp, you know, he's
2:30he's very athletic, but I'm not sure how
2:33good of a back he ultimately will be.
2:35Uh although, you know, he did look cool.
2:36So, that was fun.
