Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection0:39

Finished QB18 last year and is currently being drafted outside QB2 territory. With Mike McCarthy in 2026, Bob Harris projects him as a viable fantasy option, particularly in two-QB leagues. Rodgers is now three years past his Achilles tear, suggesting recovery trajectory supports QB evaluation. He has receiver fits in DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. who adjust well to zone coverage.

Insight page

Allen Lazard

NegativeRole1:02

Serves as a baseline comparison for the type of receiver Aaron Rodgers prefers; DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. are characterized as plus or plus-plus-plus versions of Lazard. Lazard may show up at some point in the Steelers' receiver rotation, though his role is uncertain.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

NegativeInjury18:59

Bob Harris flags stride and footwork concerns in Jeanty, noting he has issues with how he sets his feet similar to Denzel Boston, suggesting potential injury risk. However, Harris expects Jeanty to improve in 2026 now that Chip Kelly has fixed his stance and stride; the Raiders' offensive line couldn't be much worse than last year, so improvement there should help Jeanty's production going forward.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveProjection33:08

Bob Harris is 'feeling it' on Breece Hall for a career year in 2026 and top-10 RB territory. Geno Smith is a much better signal caller and diagnostician than Justin Fields or Zach Wilson, offering defenses more to honor and translating to bigger plays and better matchups for Hall. If Hall gains an extra 20–30 yards per game in rushing and/or receiving compared to 2025, he reaches top-10 territory. Hall was RB2 two years ago with 288 points; that same production the following year would have ranked RB7, indicating the low scoring environment. The Jets' running game will remain the main focus with more 12 personnel usage, and GM Brick Johnson's roster construction around Hall is expected to serve him well. Hall might have the best offensive line he's played with, at least on paper.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeInjury19:38

Bob Harris expresses lack of trust in Bucky Irving's recovery from shoulder surgery; Irving is 195 pounds (undersized for the position) and did not work out at OTAs, raising durability concerns that make him a risky bet for consistent playing time in Tampa Bay's backfield. The combination of recent injury and lack of ideal size creates draft trust issues.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

PositiveRole40:03

Christian Kirk is a good player who, when healthy, can play multiple spots—a trait coveted by Kyle Shanahan. He presents a formidable challenge to Deebo Samuel as a route runner with reliable hands and after-the-catch ability; his different but dependable style makes him a significant competitor for targets in San Francisco's offense.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeRole40:18

Deebo Samuel's fantasy value is limited by his role in Kyle Shanahan's offense. While his speed, size, and blocking ability are frequently discussed, his fantasy production may be capped if the 49ers use him more in 11-personnel packages to block and play tight end—a role that doesn't generate fantasy points. Christian Kirk's presence as a reliable route runner and receiver presents meaningful competition for targets.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeInjury17:24

Movement coaches have identified concerning stride mechanics in Boston's footwork at the line of scrimmage; his feet are splayed outward in a way that puts stress on the knee, ankle, and leg, creating inefficient and injury-prone movement patterns. Bob Harris compares this to stride issues seen in Kenneth Walker and Christian McCaffrey, both of whom have dealt with recurring injuries throughout their careers despite performing well when healthy.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

PositiveProjection13:28

Bob Harris is confident Watson will be the Browns' starter and projects low-end QB2 value. Watson is a full year removed from ACL injury and appears healthier; Todd Monken's offensive scheme is designed to leverage Watson's strengths from his Houston tenure, with glowing reports from offseason workouts in Florida. Harris acknowledges Watson's days as a top-five fantasy asset are behind him but frames his outlook as stable given health recovery and offensive fit.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeInjury40:29

George Kittle's readiness upon return from his Achilles injury is uncertain and may affect the 49ers' personnel usage. If Kittle is not ready for primetime, the team may rely more on Deebo Samuel in 11-personnel blocking roles, which would impact Samuel's receiving opportunities and overall offensive balance.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection41:31

Bob Harris evaluates Jayden Daniels as one of two strong draft picks (alongside Mason Taylor) that may generate debate about their success in the coming year. Harris expresses confidence in the pick, noting it has worked out well for him.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeRole6:20

One of two Steelers running backs (alongside Rico Dowdle) supporting the offense under McCarthy. His passing game usage may increase if Pittman's health becomes a concern, as the Steelers lack receiving core depth.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection9:40

Bob Harris projects Herbert to finish around QB8 ADP despite current expectations, citing significant fantasy headwinds: third offense in three years (two in NFL), lost Wan'Dale Robinson from receiving corps, ranked as worst QB against pressure last year, and teams now have a full offseason book on his weaknesses. The combination of offensive instability, defensive game-planning, and depleted receiving options makes him a fade at current ADP.

Insight page

Kaytron Allen

PositiveSleeper23:11

Bob Harris recommends Ka'Tron Allen as an RB3 late-round flyer in Washington for contingent upside, with the caveat that he could be a late-round target if he proves surprisingly good.

Insight page

Malachi Fields

PositiveProjection10:10

Bob Harris projects rookie receiver Malachi Fields for 800–900 yards, framing him as a good fit for the Giants' offensive scheme. Fields can work the middle of the field, win contested catches, and generate yards after catch—all three skills the Giants need post-Wan'Dale Robinson loss. Upside depends on Jackson Dart's development and ability to support the passing game.

Insight page

Malik Davis

NegativeDepth Chart53:12

Bob Harris is skeptical of Malik Davis being elevated to running back two; Davis was always the second banana to Rico Dowdle for years and Harris questions how much better he's really gotten, suggesting the Cowboys' interest in Davis signals that Blue and Moffa aren't ready or performing to expectation.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury8:28

Suffered an ACL tear requiring cleanup surgery and will not be fully healthy until 2027. While he will play this season, he is projected to be only 70% of his rookie-year production. Bob Harris rates his WR8 ADP (19th pick) as not worth the investment.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveProjection41:31

Bob Harris evaluates Mason Taylor as one of two strong draft picks (alongside Jayden Daniels) that may generate debate about their success in the coming year, though he expresses confidence in both selections.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeRole6:20

Under McCarthy's Steelers offense, Pittman is part of the receiving core alongside McKinnon and two running backs (Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle). Health of Pittman's back is a key variable for running back passing game usage, as the Steelers lack depth at receiver if Pittman is unavailable.

Insight page

Myles Montgomery

PositiveSleeper23:09

UDFA running back signed by Patriots with the most lucrative contract of all their UDFA signings; Bob Harris grades him as a top-five running back pre-draft and highlights him as the best blocker and pass protector in the class. Montgomery chose the Patriots because he liked their coaching philosophy and competitive environment. Beat writers already expect him to be the RB3 over Terrell Jennings, making him one injury away from playing time. Harris recommends him as an end-of-draft option in dynasty leagues, noting the Patriots' reputation for letting players compete.

Insight page

Nicholas Singleton

PositiveSleeper22:59

Bob Harris recommends Nicholas Singleton as an RB3 late-round flyer to monitor in Tennessee, suggesting he warrants late-round draft consideration with contingent upside.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

NegativeRole37:57

Rashod Bateman will never return first-round value to the Ravens because Baltimore's offensive scheme doesn't suit his strengths. Bateman excels at winning contested catches on the outside—something he did extraordinarily well at Minnesota—but the Ravens run routes in the middle of the field and don't allow him to go up and win contested catches on the outside. The scheme mismatch limits his fantasy ceiling in Baltimore.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveRole25:06

Bob Harris rejects the premise that Treyveon Henderson will take over as Patriots RB1 by year's end, citing Stevenson's superior pass protection, receiving ability, and route-running skills as well as his power and short-yardage dominance inside the five-yard line. Stevenson would need to 'fall off a cliff as a player' for Henderson to take over; currently being drafted as RB29 (up from RB43 last year), suggesting market undervaluation relative to his role security.

Insight page

Ricky Pearsall

PositiveDepth Chart41:16

Ricky Pearsall retains a meaningful role in San Francisco's receiver room. The speaker explicitly rejects the notion that Deebo Samuel will beat out Pearsall for the number two receiver spot, affirming Pearsall's depth chart standing.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeRole6:20

One of two Steelers running backs (alongside Jaylen Warren) supporting the offense under McCarthy. His passing game usage may increase if Pittman's health becomes a concern, as the Steelers lack receiving core depth.

Insight page

Sean Tucker

PositiveSleeper20:51

Bob Harris recommends Sean Tucker as a late-round draft target with strong waiver wire upside. Tucker can be drafted as a disposable piece early in the draft and dropped if the team's backfield stays healthy, but should be prioritized high on waiver wire lists to capitalize on instant starter potential if an injury occurs. Harris values late-round RBs (picks 15-20) as rotational roster pieces with injury-contingent upside, and Tucker fits that profile with a different skill set than the team's other backs.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeRole25:06

Despite elite speed and three monster games last year (28+ points each, including a 32-pointer), Henderson's role is limited by his incomplete skill set: he only runs gap concepts well and lacks Stevenson's pass protection and receiving refinement. In 14 other games, he averaged just 8 points per game; two of his three huge games came with Stevenson sidelined, indicating contingent rather than primary upside. Currently drafted as RB19, suggesting overvaluation relative to his actual role and consistency.

0:00Ah, good morning, Matt Waldman. Good morning, happy listeners. It's I, Bob Harris, joined by the great Matt Waldman. We're here to feel and [ __ ]
0:07things as we have eight teams hitting the field for OTAs. And so, there'll be plenty of chatter in the upcoming week
0:13and and going forward before we head into training camps this summer. So, uh by the way, rookie scouting portfolio, everything's available to you. You
0:22should be going out and getting it.
0:23Matt, tell them the run through the drill. Run through the drill. Let's see.
0:29You're going to get 1,267 pages on quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. About 167 up Some of them ranked way higher than the
0:38consensus would even deem.
0:41And some of them will actually turn out to be worth the ranking that they got.
0:47And And contrast, there will be many prospects who will be ranked below the consensus.
0:52And you will You will test me, and you may fail.
0:56>> [laughter] >> But, uh But, no. Um seriously, it it is derived from its own research. Research that's, you know, probably best practices when
1:07it comes to how you would evaluate talent. I know that's what I got trained on before I got into this whole football
1:13thing. And it's worked out rather nicely for the past 21 years.
1:18You can get a post draft along with it that reranks the players according to fit and scheme and surrounding talent. And I give you a
1:26breakdown of all those things along with um ADPs that I saw this spring and show my rankings relative to the ADPs so that
1:35you can figure out where's the best place to draft them when you see somebody like, oh, Miles Montgomery, who we'll be talking about. And you may go,
1:44this guy isn't even in consideration to be drafted. And then maybe you have to go, maybe I should take him at the end
1:50of my drafts and consider him in this respect. Um So, I would definitely say, um you can get the RSP at
1:58mountwaldman.com.
2:0021.95 for both those pre-draft and post-draft publications. You get both as soon as you log, you know, pay for it. You can
2:09log in and download them.
2:11And then there's also the dynasty rankings and projections that will be available in June. If you subscribed last year, your last update will be June. If you haven't
2:22subscribed yet or you're coming back after a year off something like that.
2:27Your first month update for this year's purchase will be in June. There's an overlap. That's how that works.
2:34I I project every player that I think is going to make the roster for every team and then I give you long
2:44basically slow build and win now rankings separated that way tiered and you can also get a linear list with a little bit
2:52of commentary. I'm not going to go into great depth there. Surprise surprise among everything else that I do that's in great depth.
3:01And then that's available for 24.95 and you'll get multiple updates throughout the year including two in August. And they're all fantastic and
3:10it's all great and everything Matt said I can attest to. There will be players that he ranks more highly than the world
3:16who will turn out to be exactly what he thought. There's the occasional miss. We all do it. If you do enough stuff things
3:22happen. And it's football because it's weird. The ball's shaped funny and all kinds of stuff can happen and not every coach it turns out knows how to use
3:31every talent. All kinds of things come into play here. It's a very dynamic situation. One thing we know for sure cuz the Steelers are telling me right
3:39now number eight is back. Matt, you know, that's everyone was very excited. I'm a little excited because I've been held hostage by Aaron Rodgers
3:47annually now since what?
3:49Last four or five years in Green Bay I sit around and wait to decide what he's going to do after doing it for Brett
3:54Favre, by the way, uh before that. So, if I had a nickel a nickel for every time I was my day was ruined
4:03by Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre, I would not be doing this right now.
4:06>> [laughter] >> But, he finished >> beach or in a mountains cabin somewhere.
4:12>> the combination of individuals addicted to attention and a league addicted to attention, boy, that you get caught up in that meat grinder and look out,
4:22people. Uh Rodgers finished his court That's a little behind the curtain stuff there. You can all say, "Oh, [ __ ] that.
4:27You got an easy job." And you're right, it's not that bad. If that's the worst thing that happens to me, I'll be okay.
4:32Aaron Rodgers finished as quarterback 18 last year. Matty's being drafted outside quarterback two territory right now.
4:36Probably some of that based on uncertainty.
4:39Rodgers will be a viable fantasy option in 2026 going back with Mike McCarthy.
4:43Feel or [ __ ] it? In two-QB leagues, yes.
4:46I think he will be. Um I think that um DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman offer the type of receiver that that he tends to
4:55like, guys who are going to adjust well to zone coverage, that he can throw open in the middle of the field, guys he can
5:02throw up in the the boundary as well. Um so, he's got the com You know, they're like plus versions of Allen Lazard,
5:09either plus plus plus or plus plus versions of Allen Lazard. Who knows?
5:13Allen Lazard may show up at some point.
5:15>> He might show up or Randall Cobb might come out of retirement, who knows?
5:18Donald Driver might even say, you know, yeah, exactly, you know, Antonio Freeman, probably not. Um but, yeah, I mean, when you take a look at those
5:27considerations, um I think Rodgers with McCarthy is a a decent bet. He's a couple years, you know, past that that,
5:38you know, 3 years past that Achilles tear. Um I I think that the Steelers, you know, this is a chance for the
5:44Steelers to adjust, for the teammates to know each other pretty well, even though it's a new offense, um the teammates tend to know each other pretty well. So,
5:53I think that he'll be a bottom-end quarterback, too. I think that's a fair presumption.
5:58>> kind of be part of the coaching staff in this case, you know, and probably will enjoy that more than other OTA work,
6:02which I don't know if he'll do any OTAs.
6:04He was there this morning uh to sign the contract, $25 million. Um and uh and get ready. He had serviceable moments last year. I think the
6:13consistency would be the concern, but better like slightly improved weapons this year. I think the big news is for the pieces you were investing in
6:20otherwise, though, the McKinnon, the Michael Pittman Jr. Uh the running game, you know, we've got two running backs to support there again. Uh Jaylen Warren
6:29and Rico Dowdle. And but and the offense being on schedule is good news. Um am I right that we don't see as much
6:36is McCarthy as heavy on using the running backs in the passing game?
6:39You know, I'd have to take a look and and >> the numbers are a little lower. Yeah, and they might be a little bit lower
6:44compared compared to Nagy. Um but you know, at the same time, McCarthy's someone that I think still adjusts according to what the talent
6:53will tell you. So, if if I think if Pittman stays healthy and his back isn't like a shambles, then the the the lot
7:02running back range will be lower. Um but I think that if if Pittman's a problem, they don't have much else on
7:08that receiving core. Um so, they're going to have to use game you know, they're going to have to use Warren and
7:14and Dowdle a little bit more in that respect. And we'll see what they do with tight end. Now that um you know, now that Arthur Smith is gone.
7:23Yeah, Arthur Smith is gone.
7:24>> The weird usage can Yeah, maybe Pat Freiermuth will actually have value um considering that the beat reporters all thought he was going to be their most
7:32valuable player.
7:33>> of the offense was what they called him last Yes. Yes, that was a big miss on my end, too. I was [laughter] a flatline on
7:40that one. No.
7:41>> that was awful. Um but >> a couple of blips we had a few weeks.
7:45Yeah, but >> gave it up to him. They gave it >> definitely gave it up to him, but maybe maybe Mike McCarthy might see a little
7:51more value. He does seem to do a pretty good job with tight ends. That makes sense. All right. Uh we'll go to the New
7:57York Football Giants. You mentioned Matt Nagy, he'll be calling the offense there. Jackson Dart being even better as a fantasy quarterback this year, feel or
8:05it. [ __ ] [laughter] that.
8:09that. No, because I Listen, I understand that he made a lot of off-script plays. He did a great job running the football. Um he was
8:19certainly someone that in the short passing game did well. Um even without, you know, Malik Nabers for him to be able to throw down field to, but he
8:28couldn't throw down field even when he had Malik Nabers. He was He was not good past 25 yd from his pitch point. Um he
8:35wasn't that good in college at it. He wasn't that good in his first year in the pros. And then on top of that, Malik
8:42Nabers isn't going to be really probably fully himself. Spoiler alert, we'll have to eliminate a question right now cuz he's not probably going to be truly back
8:51in until 2027 with that ACL tear and then the cleanup surgery. I mean, he'll be on the field, but he's not going to
8:58be the player that we saw. He'll probably be I bet he's like, you know, four 30% of, you know, 70% of what he was
9:08um in in his first year. Um current average draft position, Malik Nabers is going to be I think he's been following
9:15falling a little bit, but he's still like wide receiver eight going with the 19th pick. Not worth it in your book,
9:19feel or [ __ ] it. Put a one in front of that.
9:22And that's what I would probably say is his upside. Yeah.
9:26I would put a one in front of that. Um go ahead. And Dart is is quarterback eight just to carry that theme back over
9:32to to the quarterback. Quarterback eight going in the sixth round right after Caleb Williams, Jalen Hurts, right ahead of Dak Prescott, my guy Trevor Lawrence,
9:40Justin Herbert.
9:42Uh feel or [ __ ] it on that at that ADP.
9:44I'm guessing it's a [ __ ] it.
9:45>> Yeah, [ __ ] it big time. That's crazy. I mean because what we didn't even get to is he lost Wan'Dale Robinson to boot. Um
9:53he's now in his third offense in the past 3 years if you count college. So now he's had to So basically he's having
10:00to learn his third offense in in the past 3 years. That's yeah.
10:05That's a lot when two of them have been in the NFL.
10:08Meanwhile, NFL teams, they've got a book on what he doesn't do well. He was the worst against pressure last year. Um
10:16they know what to do. They know how to confuse him. They're going to implement more of that now that they've had a full
10:21off season to study him. And he has um you know, he [snorts] has a 70% Malik Nabers and a rookie in Malachi Fields.
10:32And then the same holdovers that they had that they didn't lose.
10:35Um I and a new offense. To me, that's a recipe for you can you can probably multiply at least 1.5 to his QB8
10:45ADP and that's probably where he's going to be. I just I just don't think that he's going to be He's definitely not
10:52going to be even better. Um >> Well, I I you know, you you basically other teams having a book, part of that
10:56book is he's a reckless abandoned kind of player and and probably people be looking to lay the wood to him. Uh and
11:03that would be a good approach. I'm guessing maybe they can dial him in.
11:06Matt Nagy, how how big a concern is the change of play callers? It's a huge concern considering that I don't think
11:12Matt Nagy's been all that successful since his first turn with the Chiefs.
11:16Wasn't he with the Bears um previously um during the the Justin Fields era and some of the problems that he had there.
11:25Um I I just don't I'm not all that impressed with with Matt Nagy as a play caller and as a designer of offenses.
11:33Um I was impressed with some of the talent that he had that in here that he earned the praise that he got that got
11:39him the first opportunity to be in in a bigger spotlight, but nothing he's done that is to me has been super impressive
11:47and it's going to take Jackson Dart. I mean, I don't think he's awful, but I don't think he's going to take the you
11:53know, he's not taking Justin Fields or Jackson Dart and turning them into career year players. I just don't think that that's The perception is is that
12:01Kansas City's offense was tailing downward and that's probably why Matt Nagy is no longer there and Eric Bieniemy's back. Uh Malachi Fields we
12:10mentioned him. Is he a bad fit for New York Field or [ __ ] it? Oh, [ __ ] that.
12:14He's a good fit for what New York does.
12:16He can work the middle of the field. He can win contested catches. He can win after the catch and they need a receiver
12:23who can do all three things right now because they lost Wan'Dale and what we talked about with Malik Nabers. So he's
12:29going to get an opportunity to give you 800 to 900 yards this year um if everything works out pretty good. He
12:35might even have more upside than that.
12:37It just depends on whether or not Jackson Dart can prove me wrong, you know, or you know, he can prove naysayers wrong and and and You. make
12:46another step. Yeah, me. If it's just me, then it's just me. But you know, but yeah, I I think Fields Fields is a good
12:54fit for New York in theory and in practice as long as they have a quarterback who can support it. I thought so as well. And by the way
13:02for me on Dart like I generally have been willing to aggressively pursue second year quarterbacks coming off strong rookie seasons. I did it with Bo
13:11Nix last year. It ended up working out okay. I don't feel the same compulsion with Jackson Dart this year for many of
13:18the reasons Matt laid out including the change of play caller and of my concerns about him taking care of his own self as
13:24he runs with the football. So we'll see how that goes. Deshaun Watson, now there's somebody I'm not concerned about.
13:32Deshaun Watson will be the starter in Cleveland, feel it or [ __ ] it. I'm going to say feel it. Hold on to your hats.
13:36>> The drumbeat is turned into almost a thunderous roar at this point.
13:41>> It literally they got a drum core out there at this point with him, you know, and he's the drum major leading the way.
13:47You know, but yeah, I think I think he'll be the starter.
13:51The fact that Deion's already in the media talking about how he wants to talk to Todd Monken as a coach, not a dad,
14:00which is a nice track for a dad who happens to be a coach to take in the media.
14:06If anybody believes it, nobody does.
14:09You know, as I predicted within, you know, the you know, the biggest disaster for for Shedeur Sanders emotionally will probably be if Deion talks his way into
14:20becoming the head coach of the Cleveland Browns within a within the first few years of Deion getting drafted, I mean, Shedeur getting drafted, and I think
14:29we're we're on our way towards that lobbying if if Todd Monken doesn't doesn't establish himself very firmly in year one and they don't have a good
14:38year. And Watson seems to be healthier, full year away from the ACL. He's probably learned how to get back into some level of denial about
14:49what he did that wasn't proven in court.
14:53Um, you know, and so therefore he did or didn't do anything, but all the controversy surrounding him, I'm sure he's probably
15:03figured out some way to train himself so that [snorts] he can get used to the booing that will probably cynically turn into cheers if they start
15:11winning football games. 100%.
15:13You know, so he he certainly has an offense that is, you know, Todd Monken wants to do certain things with him that
15:21he did well in Houston, and you could see that coming with the way they got Concepcion, who is Casey Concepcion, who is going to be that nice extension
15:30of the run game that they can feed, but they can also give him excuse me, some of what Will Fuller was able to do in his past. And then Don
15:40Sol Boston, or or whether it's Tillman, um or Judy, they can fill in there, too, and and be able to provide them at least
15:48some ranging of a of a um passing game that that offers different things. And I think I mean, I don't see Watson becoming a QB1 this
15:57year, um but I think that Watson might be competing with Aaron Rodgers for a for a low-end QB2 value. Yeah, I think
16:04you know, clearly his days as a top-five fantasy asset are behind him. But I don't think those ever existed for Shedeur Sanders. So, you know, the fact
16:14that that we've at least seen the high end from Watson is encouraging. The this the the the switch to flip for me was when Jimmy
16:22Haslam, who a year ago was saying he was a swing and a miss, yeah, or the biggest swing and a miss, is now saying he looks
16:28like the best option. Was talking up how good he was throwing the football at the end of last year working just on side.
16:34Uh he hasn't been with the team this offseason, but we're still getting glowing reports from his his own offseason workouts in Florida. Jerry
16:41Jeudy was in attendance there. Uh but also, uh the latest comment is that he, you know, he's seems to be, you know, be
16:48be in lockstep with Todd Monken. So, he's got a new offensive coach. So, uh they've set the table. Mary Mary Kay Cabot has been reporting that
16:56he's the favorite. I think she's not reporting that based on her own guesswork, that people are telling her this. Uh that seems perfectly
17:03reasonable, as well. So, I think that I think this is getting baked into the cake in advance, and and he will indeed
17:09be the starter.
17:10>> Bob. Go. Well, you know, maybe maybe, you know, when Jimmy was seen in the stands during Sam Darnold's workouts early on in his tenure. Maybe maybe they
17:20should have listened to Jimmy all along.
17:23Maybe Jim Maybe Jimmy's not the problem after all. Maybe if they had taken Sam Darnold in the first place, maybe none of this would have happened
17:32and they would have been a Super Bowl winning team. I don't know. I bet Yeah, right. Me too. I believe that I'm I'm
17:38with you.
17:39But it's kind of funny. You mentioned Denzel Boston. Now, his stride style is Could it be a long-term concern for your
17:44pocket?
17:45>> I've seen some stride coaches and some um movement coaches who seem to have a pretty good handle on what they do talk
17:51about how Denzel Boston's feet, the way that they start at the line of scrimmage, the way he's kind of splayed outward, puts a lot of stress on the
18:00knee and the and the ankle and and the leg in general and that the movement is not efficient and is more conducive to
18:09injury and they showed other players who often had these types of issues saying that they were they they had really inefficient um
18:19unhealthy movement styles. One of them you know, one of them as an example is There are two examples that they brought
18:27up and they're both players who've been hurt a lot off and on throughout their careers and they were running backs. So, I'm
18:33Kenneth Walker and and Christian McCaffrey. Now, when they're healthy, they look great. They play they've played very well. They've had healthy
18:40enough seasons to play to to be established players who who get high value. Um but you know that the injuries have been a factor throughout their
18:49careers. And so, this guy was talking about Denzel's stride style and it could give um kind of be an issue with staying
18:59healthy. Um so, that's something that I'm going to be watching a little bit more, especially with guys like Walker, um McCaffrey. Ashton Jeanty apparently
19:11has some of those issues stride wise and how he sets his feet.
19:16Um, so I'm going to be, you know, whereas in contrast Concepcion apparently has excellent footwork and how he uses his feet and
19:24how he strides. So I'm going to be kind of paying more attention to some of these guys and seeing if there's
19:29something to this and talking to some other people, but that's something to that's just notable to to kind of watch for even whether you believe it or not.
19:38Uh, Ke'Shawn Tucker, uh, remains the running back three you want to draft at the end of fantasy drafts. Feel it or
19:45that? I'm going to say feel it, um, mainly because I don't have trust that, uh, that, um, what's his name? Bucky Irving coming off
19:55the shoulder. Coming off the shoulder surgery. Yeah, Shribby Irving. Yeah, he's a 195 pounder, right? Uh, so so yeah, and he's coming off the injury,
20:04not working out at OTAs. They added Kenneth Gainwell who's had a good season. Maybe he duplicates the role Rashad White played as receiver after
20:12his 73 catch season with the Steelers last year, but what is Tucker what kind of role could we envision for him uh,
20:20with those two guys both healthy? Do you think this is going to be dependent on somebody getting hurt? Yeah, well, yeah,
20:25and Bucky's not all that small. It's just that his his size may not be conducive. He may personally may not be
20:32>> I don't know, man. The draft bros The draft bros would like me to think that 190 Anything below 200 pounds is not big
20:37enough. I know, that's what they have to say. I'm sure they're really going after James Cook um, for the past few years as
20:44an as a reason for >> were a draft bro. You know, oh, was I? I don't know if I'm a part of that group.
20:51Um, [laughter] that. Yeah, but, uh, but, uh, but yeah, I think Sean Tucker definitely is someone you want to
21:01consider at the end of drafts. Just you can you can get rid of him early on if you want to as a disposable piece if if
21:08everything's going swimmingly, but you definitely want to be um having them high on your waiver wire list to take advantage of. I just think that for me,
21:17guys you draft between 15 and 20 in most leagues other than kickers are guys that you're probably rotating on and off your
21:25roster, and who better would you want to have rotated on your roster than a guy who can give you instant starter skill
21:31if an injury takes place, and they see Kenneth Gainwell and Lucky Irving as the same style of player. [clears throat] That's what the coach said. Skip Pete.
21:40So, that means Tucker offers a little something different and might be might get that into the mix soon if one gets
21:47hurt. Skip Pete Mar, an old high school nemesis, the quarterback of the Saguaro Cougars, the rival of the Sabino Sabercats. Of course, everyone knows
21:55that. Um I'll say Sean Tucker.
22:00What position did you play, Bob? I played EVERY POSITION.
22:04>> [laughter] >> I was a I was a lineman. I was a lowly lineman, so What's lowly about that?
22:11Were you a guard? Were you a center?
22:12>> guard and yeah, I was a guard and a defensive and a nose guard and defensive tackle. So, but mostly, you know,
22:19offensive guard was where I played.
22:21>> Yeah, you were the Richie Incognito of the of the of the of of that group, I bet.
22:26>> I went to college, I wasn't big enough to do that, so they turned me into a baby fullback.
22:30I could see that with you, too. Yeah, that works.
22:34You man, you you're still you still got that mentality. A little bit. Um so, I'll I'll just add to this list a little
22:41bit, right? Like and by by the way, Draft Bros, relax. I'm just kidding, man. And we all know there's an exception to every rule, and and some
22:48guys that aren't that big are not that big, and some guys are bigger. It doesn't matter.
22:52Uh some other guys though that running back threes that I think might have good chances. I'll be watching Nicholas Singleton in Tennessee. Maybe put some
22:59late round flyers on him.
23:01Kay'Tron Allen in Washington for the same reason, just the contingent upside or if he's surprisingly good. Another one that we heard about this week was
23:09Miles Montgomery, got a big big pretty big bonus as an undrafted free agent.
23:13Uh, is he a running back three to consider? There's a lot of competition there with the Patriots. Oh, [ __ ] yes,
23:18cuz there's already some beat writer expectation that he may be the beat RB3 over Terrell Jennings. And that means he's basically one injury away from
23:28playing time as a potential, at least, you know, um, what do you say? Basically an off-the-bench contributor, but more likely,
23:39based on his skill sets, uh, he's I thought he was the best blocker in this class, pass protector in this class. And I mean, I had him as a
23:47top five running back in grade pre-draft, which tells you I I'm very high on this kid. And the Patriots apparently said there was a lot of
23:54demand for his services. Um, and they did they did they he had the the most lucrative contract of all the UDFAs they
24:02signed. So, that tells you right there >> Like Sean Tucker did two years ago.
24:06>> Yes. And Montgomery said that he chose the Patriots because he liked how they coached, and he liked how they let people
24:15compete. Right.
24:16>> Um, so to to me, this is this is someone that you want to be keeping an eye on this summer. If you're in a if you're in a
24:24dynasty league, he's an end of the draft, um, option right now.
24:30>> confident this coaching staff will remain intact. Good for you, Miles Montgomery.
24:33>> Yeah, see there you go. That's >> [laughter] >> Yeah, that's true, but you know, um, but it probably will, um, even after the Good
24:41Morning America firestorm that's probably about to come, or what other what other stuff. I I think that there's a certain I think there is a certain
24:49celebrity player, former player, who's probably quaking in his boots a little bit now about of the endorsements that he does, and whether there's going to be
24:58any talk about him being mentioned anywhere, but we'll find out. All right, Treyveon Henderson will take over for Rhamondre Stevenson as the running back
25:06one in New England by year's end. Feel or [ __ ] it.
25:08>> [ __ ] it. Um, course I'm going to say that. I'm a party line Rhamondre Stevenson It's 202 pounds is Treyveon
25:15Henderson. That's his problem. Yeah, well, that and that and he only runs gap, you know, really well. Um, that's really his best thing. So, I think he's
25:24going to have to get better, whereas Rhamondre Stevenson's going to have to um really kind of fall off a cliff as a
25:31player. I know that Henderson's speed is so salivating, and he is certainly probably in in in contention for the Football Diehard Play Maker of
25:40the Year in terms of speed. Um, certainly on that on that list. Um, but he's got to complete his game a little
25:48bit more.
25:49And I think that, you know, what Stevenson offers as a pass protector and a receiver is way yeah, especially as a route
25:56runner, is way too appealing, and he's just a better you know, um, Stevenson's just better inside the five in terms of
26:04his power and short yardage.
26:07Yeah, Henderson had the three monster games last year. He had more than 28 points in all three, including a 32-pointer, but he only
26:14averaged about eight points per game in the other 14 games. Two of those huge games came with Rhamondre Stevenson sidelined. So, you know, like obviously
26:22some contingent upside there if something happens to Stevenson. Uh and there's lots of touchdowns otherwise though. So, he's still a playable asset,
26:30but I'm kind of with you. It seems like they they've picked their lane.
26:33Uh, and you're drafting them the opposite. Like people are drafting them like last year. Well, not quite like last year. Stevenson was going as
26:40running back 43, Henderson is running back 18-ish. Now, it's like running back 19 for Henderson. I think we're up to what? 30-something? Let me double check
26:49this. 29. Uh, running back 29 for Stevenson.
26:53>> So sanity hasn't prevailed yet. They should play him.
26:56>> yet, but it's getting closer. Yep. I I can see that. Okay.
27:00All right. A little more medication, they should be all right.
27:03>> [laughter] >> Ameca Egbuka could deliver JSN caliber production in Tampa this year. Feel it or [ __ ] it.
27:07>> I'm going to say [ __ ] it just because >> Come on. Yeah, it's it's way too high to say that.
27:12JSN is a JSN is a better route runner than Ameca Egbuka. Um JSN is a better pass catcher than Ameca Egbuka. Um that said, Ameca
27:21Egbuka could give you low end running wide receiver one production in that offense and he's a good football player and promising, but I don't think that he
27:30has the level of refinement in the areas that he needs to that JSN had to to reach that elite upside. You have to
27:39you really have to hold on to the ball well and to be a top-tier route runner to to reach the the rarefied air that
27:48JSN did last year. Look, man. Look, listen. I don't I hate it when you rain on these parades of these kids. They're
27:54hard working young men.
27:57By the way, we've tasted this with Egbuka, right? He finished the month of September with 18 catches, 282 yards, and four touchdowns. In weeks one
28:05through four, he was one of four wide receivers and the only rookie with 70 plus 75 plus yards from scrimmage in
28:10three or more games. That was Justin Jefferson, Puka Nacua, oh, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
28:16He led all rookies during that span. He ranked second only to Amon-Ra St. Brown in pass rating when targeted among players with 25 or more targets. He was
28:26wide receiver four overall during that span. So we have seen the high end. He could not sustain it and part of that is
28:33going to be on Baker Mayfield. We got a new offensive coordinator. I'm just saying we've tasted it, Matt. That's all.
28:38>> You know what? We tasted it with Chase Claypool back in 2020. Remember Chase Claypool? Re- re- remember how how high
28:45he was in one.
28:48>> Oh, after 6 weeks he had four touchdowns. He had, you know, and he was like a top five player and then the
28:55bottom dropped out. Now, I don't think the bottom's dropping out of Ek Bouka. I think he's a very good player. I just
29:01think there's a difference between very good and great for fantasy production and that margin becomes very narrow and he's not going to fit through that
29:09little pinhole to get to the fantasy heaven that that people want him to you know, that's what the that's what the
29:17Jesus said, you know, in this in the scripture which was that, you know, what is it that you know, about passing
29:24through the gates of heaven. I think that, you know, you could say elite production is kind of like that. That's fair. Fair point, I'm quite sure. Ashton
29:33Jeanty, you mentioned his stride. Now that Chip Kelly's fixed his stance, too, will he be better in 2026?
29:40Um well, as long as the as long as the movement bros aren't right, then I think he will be better in 2026 cuz that
29:48offensive line couldn't be much worse. I was, you know, I was contributing something for for the the Football Guys magazine that one Mr. Bob Harris edits
29:57and I was doing it this morning and just mentioning the fact that Geno's if you look at Geno Smith last year in that
30:04horrible offense and they go and you think about him going to the Jets and people are like, well, how's that an
30:10upgrade? Remember that Geno Smith two of his first three years as a starter came in Seattle and two of those years he had
30:19quarterback one value in fantasy. And the Seattle has never heard of the idea until last year that you should draft an
30:27offensive lineman in the first round.
30:30They were like searching Big Lots and Kmart. Is Kmart even around anymore? No.
30:34>> the farms looking on the tractors yanking guys off.
30:38>> Yeah, I'm There's a big kid. Exactly.
30:40And so, last year was the first year they actually focused on offensive line in the first round, whereas and so if you think of that lackluster
30:49production in Seattle, think about how far downward the Raiders had to be where there was at least multiple errors on seemingly every play and that extended
30:58to the run game, extended the passing game. They're going to have better quarterback They're going to have decent quarterback play this year if the
31:06offensive line can get better and I'm sure that offensive line is going to be a massive priority. He's going to be
31:12running out of more 12 and 13 personnel sets. That's more gaps for Gentry to set up. Um and he was he had a he was a very LaDainian
31:22Tomlinson-like rookie year type of player. If you look at what LaDainian did, averaging what? 3.9 yards per carry and not even having like uh
31:33you know, he had a lot of games with less than 40 yards, I believe in that and he didn't have many breakaway plays
31:39either. And you know, they're talking about Ashton Gentry like he was awful.
31:43Well, he was not much different than LaDainian Tomlinson. Look how Tomlinson's career panned out. I think Gentry still has a chance to to to at
31:52least be on the level of the top five backs that we've seen over the past five years as he develops and I think this
31:59will be a year where we takes another step forward. And yes, Gentry bros, I know he went back to the Michael Myers
32:05dancing. He'll be perfectly fine.
32:07>> Yeah. Jane Blue and Phil Moffa, will they be perfectly fine? Are are they dynasty stashes? Feel or [ __ ] it?
32:12>> to say [ __ ] it because if they're already talking Malik Davis as running back two. Now, I don't know Nick Harris'
32:18reputation in at the Dallas Star or Fort Worth or wherever he is where he ever he is, what newspaper he's at, but he's
32:27reporting that Malik Davis will be likely be the running back two. Um that may be motivation for Blue and Moffa to
32:34get their acts together. Um but Malik Davis to me was always the was the second banana to Rico Dowdle for years. I don't know how much better he's
32:45really gotten.
32:46Um, and it just says to me that Blue and Mafah aren't ready or aren't um, performing to the level of expectation
32:53that they need to be at. So, I think they're wait-and-see guys that you can ditch this year, get out from under
32:59quickly. Um, and if you must wait on Blue because he just seemed too talented and too speedy and you know, all of
33:07that.
33:08At least wait till August and then you can make your move there once they start talking about the coach being in Jayden
33:15Blue's ear, you know, and that he's not doing enough.
33:18All right, Breece Hall headed for a career year in 2026, feel it or [ __ ] it?
33:23I'm feeling it for all the things I explained about Geno Smith. This might be the the, you know, he's got a better
33:29he might have the best offensive line that he's played with, at least on paper. The Jets aren't an awful aren't an awful offensive line. They're not a
33:36great one, but they're probably middle of the road on paper and young and could emerge and get a little bit more um,
33:43you know, cohesion. So, that could be good for him. Um, certainly there's weapons for you Geno Smith to to work with and develop, but I think the
33:53running game still going to be the main deal. You're still probably going to see more 12 personnel and Breece, you know,
33:59the fact that you know, Geno Smith is a much better signal um, caller, you know, much better diagnostician
34:10than Justin Fields or Zach Wilson was and we don't count Aaron Rodgers cuz he was still he was {quote} {unquote} healthy. You can put quotes around his
34:21healthy during the eighth the Achilles return. I would say that Smith offers a little bit more that defenses have to honor and that translates to
34:32probably, you know, bigger plays, better matchups for Hall. And if you can imagine Hall getting maybe more 20 to 30 yards, you know, more games with an
34:44extra 20 to 30 yards to his game running and/or receiving um next year than what he was getting last year, you're
34:52probably looking at top 10 territory for for Breece Hall. And I know he was RB2 a couple years ago, but I was looking at
35:01that this morning. If you look at the the year running backs had, his top two year the following year would have been
35:08RB7. So, you know, it wasn't a good year for as a top two running back. He had like 288 points. And that would have,
35:16you know, that was a low total for a running back too in most seasons. I think the great work Brick Johnson has
35:24done in assembling the roster around him is going to to serve Breece Hall there quite well. You can't even say with a
35:31straight face. But it was it was clever, that's for sure. Feeling the clever the clever response there from Bob Harris.
35:38Draft bro Bob Harris thinks Jacoby Lane is a great fit in Baltimore.
35:44Uh the Ravens uh seem to think he's a great fit as well. What does Matt Waldman think, bro? Jacoby Lane a great
35:49fit in Baltimore, feel or [ __ ] it?
35:51that. I think that's Okay, that's hilarious. Okay. Just because Jacoby Lane is very good at catching the ball.
36:01Um he's good on outside routes. Guess who's doesn't really throw the ball on to the boundary for guys to go up and
36:09get?
36:10Lamar Jackson. Guess where Lamar Jackson excels? In the middle of the field.
36:14Guess where Jacoby Lane is an absolute [ __ ] up?
36:18Middle of the field. And I'm like literally doesn't break doesn't break back to the ball, doesn't continue his breaks um
36:28inside, has has had repeated issues on tape where he doesn't finish routes or doesn't know where to be in the middle of the field and it's
36:39created a lot of consternation um in the passing game.
36:43And that's a great fit in Baltimore. I mean, maybe they're changing the offense some. Maybe Jacoby Lane maybe there was something going on with him that we
36:52don't know about and he's going to flip the switch and suddenly become Brandon Marshall on the inside um or Terrell Owens, but I don't think he's even his
37:02his frame isn't even modeled for that game. So, yeah, I'm not I'm not there at all with with Jacoby Lane being a great fit
37:11unless you say great fit for being you know, in that that golf club in the bag that you need to have to have a
37:18complete bag, but you never use that club.
37:21So, [clears throat] here's why Draft Robot Harris thinks he's a great fit. Uh it's because Eric DeCosta thinks he's a great fit. On our board, uh we do months
37:30of work. Sometimes our evaluations differ from public consensus. You can understand that, Matt Waldman. Uh Lane is a big receiver, 6'4. He ran a 4.46
37:38like at that size.
37:40Uh excellent at contesting catches with great hands.
37:43I don't know. They did double down at the position, so we'll see. He didn't put a ton of investment into either him
37:49or Elijah Sarratt. Zay Flowers is the clear-cut number one, but after that, there seem to be opportunities open. I don't know I I don't know that they've
37:57given up on Rashod Bateman, but I don't know that Rashod Bateman is ever going to return that first-round value to them. So, maybe they'd be willing
38:03>> he never will because he's he's on a team that runs routes in the middle of the field and doesn't allow him go up
38:10and win contested catches on the outside, [clears throat] which is one of the things that he did extraordinarily well at Minnesota, but
38:16they don't do in Baltimore. And Eric DeCosta sounds like one of those guys that oh, almost got into a fight with um
38:24you know, one of those executives that nearly got into a fight with the Ram scouting staff when they wanted to make um Alex Smith
38:33the number one pick overall in St. Louis back in the day um and have them rewatch a a hit clip tape
38:40of 20 highlights. So, Eric DeCosta may have spent months on the on the John looking through fantasy magazines.
38:48Um you know, doing his research.
38:52>> would tighten that up a little bit and say Eric DeCosta is a beta [ __ ] BUT LIKE >> [laughter]
38:59>> LOOK, ERIC DECOSTA IS PROBABLY an excellent is an ex- excellent executive in the things that he's done in Baltimore. It's been a pretty successful
39:08team. And it has and I'm a big Baltimore Ravens fan. They're my favorite team to watch. I watch them pretty much every
39:14week. So, I don't have that much of an issue with DeCosta, but I think DeCosta this year wanting to like add his his
39:21little um his opinions to the mix and that they spend months doing this stuff. Well, look, I've seen some scouting reports
39:30from NFL teams. If it took months to write three paragraphs um you know, at at the level that they have um that's some sorry ass [ __ ] Um
39:41and and I've seen been seeing that kind of stuff since 2011.
39:45Um so, maybe they do more and I hope they do and they've made some excellent picks in the past. Draft bro Bob Harris
39:53over one. Let me try again. Draft bro Bob Harris says DeSean Scribbling will beat out Christian Kirk for the number three spot in the San Francisco field or
40:03it. Man, I see that's the one I have a trouble with right there because Christian Kirk is a good [ __ ] player. You know, when
40:12healthy he knows he can play two spots. He can you know, very well.
40:18And that's something that is coveted by Kyle Shanahan. I know we keep talking about Deebo Samuel's speed speed, size, and blocking ability.
40:29And certainly that can come into the mix, especially if oh, I don't know, George Kittle isn't quite ready yet for primetime when he
40:37returns from his Achilles injury.
40:39You know, and they want to use more 11 personnel and let Samuel block and play the tight end role. That's great, but
40:45are you getting fantasy points for pancakes? I don't think you are.
40:49So, if you are, congratulations to your league. I want to be in that and I want to know who the [ __ ] tracking all that
40:56all those stats. But I I think that Christian Kirk is a formidable challenge for Samuel if healthy enough. And that especially as a
41:07route runner, with his hands, what he can do after the catch, different style player, but a very reliable one. So, I'm going
41:15to say [ __ ] that.
41:16>> So, I think what you're saying is Samuel's going to beat out Ricky Pearsall in the number two spot. Hell no.
41:22No.
41:22>> All right, so Draft Rob >> [laughter] >> That or that or Draft Rob Harris is going to be is going to be three for
41:30three cuz I think if we go if or maybe actually I don't know. Are we four for four? We got Mason Taylor. We've got
41:39Jayden Daniels, you know, so that those two were pretty good though though, you know, people might be arguing both by next year, but we'll see. I kind of like
41:48both of those picks.
41:49>> I would say you know, the the future of Draft Rob is tenuous at best. There's a reason I don't do the
41:57draft and I just demonstrated it.
41:59>> we'll do a I think we'll do a second interview. I don't know. I would listen to Matt Waldman. I would read the RSP
42:05carefully. I would trust his judgments on the rookies over mine, although Yeah, no, no caveats. I would trust his >> [laughter]
42:16>> I don't know. That Jayden Daniels one worked out well for you, so.
42:19>> I have brief moments of >> You have moments of inspiration.
42:23>> Brief moments. More than brief. We'll be back next week with more brief moments, more Draft Bro talk, and more feeling or
42:29it right here. I'm Bob Harris, he's Matt Waldman at Football Die Hard on the X, at Matt Waldman on the X. He puts a
42:35ton of content up there for you. Matt Waldman.com is where you'll get your rookie RSP, uh your rookie uh your rookie RSP, your rookie scouting
42:44portfolio, and all the associated content, the dynasty content, the projections, the rankings, all the stuff is fantastic. 10 of 10 would smash.
42:53Love you, Matt. Love you. Love you, too.
42:55And then and Draft and Draft Bro Bob Harris is kind of like Date Night Mike at the office. [laughter] Adorable. All right. Love you. Bye.
43:05>> Bye.
