Barkley has now departed early due to injury in two games; this one, resulting from a hamstring strain, is of greater concern than his previous exit. The Eagles are calling him week-to-week, and hamstring issues can be problematic for a running back. The meatiest part of his schedule comes over the next five weeks (@JAX, CAR, DAL, @WSH, NYG) leading into the Eagles' Week 10 bye, compounding the concern. Like Love, his range of outcomes is rather wide. Recommended FAB bid: 7-23%.

Price is expected to share touches in Seattle's backfield with George Holani, Emanuel Wilson, and Zach Charbonnet (once he returns from ACL tear), but has the traits to emerge quickly at the start of the season. Price has vision and instincts to find downhill paths, showed contact balance at point of attack on Notre Dame tape, averaged almost 6.0 yards per carry last season, and scored 11 rushing TDs. Zachariason believes Price has the physical profile and speed to handle NFL volume.

Love is positioned as a 2026 breakout candidate comparable to Jeanty's high-volume rookie season. Selected third overall in April's draft, Love benefits from historical precedent: each of the past nine running backs drafted in the top 12 finished top 12 in fantasy points as a rookie. Skilled as a rusher, receiver and blocker, Love has elite fantasy upside right out of the gate and is expected to outperform Jeanty's sixth-place finish in touches and 11th-place finish in fantasy points.

Barkley's production fell from 2,283 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns in 2024 to 1,413 yards and nine scores in 2025, with fantasy output dropping from 22.5 to 14.5 fantasy points per game due to injuries that dragged down Philadelphia's run game. However, the Eagles return all five O-line starters after Lane Johnson's absence was especially noticeable, and Barkley remains the clear centerpiece with 19.8 touches per game. A healthier line and Sean Mannion's offense with more motion, under-center looks and outside-zone runs should help Barkley bounce back at a more favorable ADP.
