DJ Moore was acquired by the Bills in a trade from the Bears and reunites with offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who worked with Moore in Carolina from 2020–2021. Moore saw his role reduced in Chicago in 2025, finishing with career lows of 50 receptions and 682 yards despite starting all 17 games. In his first season under Brady in Carolina, Moore posted 1,193 receiving yards and a career-high 18.1 yards per catch. The move to Buffalo gives the Bills a top-caliber receiving weapon for Josh Allen, a role the team has lacked in recent seasons; Khalil Shakir led the Bills with 72 receptions and 719 yards last year.
