Top 3 Takeaways for Jeff Joniak on todays dynamic practice: 1- Colston Loveland made multiple incredible catches high-pointing the ball in coverage in both corners of the end zone. 2- Too many injuries again. Cam Lewis left on a cart. Tyrique Stevenson fought through but was not 100 percent. Luther Burden left early after colliding with Stevenson. 3- Great ending. Tyson Bagent to Jahdae Walker TD in 2 minute on 4th down. Caleb missile to Rome back of the end zone TD to end practice. PS- Jonia...

Bears camp takeaways: ▪️Caleb struggled early (high/behind Rome, INT to Tyrique Stevenson, operation issues) but responded by going 6-for-6 on the game-winning two-minute drill, capped by a TD to Luther Burden. Great resilience. ▪️Jedrick Wills continues to flash. Excellent movement skills and plenty of pop despite one loss to Daniel Hardy a couple other bad plays. ▪️Darnell Wright won a heavyweight battle, handling Montez Sweat on three straight reps in 1 on 1s. That bag of money not slowing...

Luther Burden got blown up pretty good at the goal line trying to catch a pass on the final play of the 2MD. Slow to get up but walked off the field under his own power flanked by Caleb Williams and Tyrique Stevenson. Situation: Offense trailing 28-23 with 54 seconds remaining. Ball on their own 47 to start. Defense in dime this drive. Two false starts early. Devin Bush blitzed off the edge and was disruptive the whole series. Sloppiest the offense has looked in any team period so far.

Colston Loveland and Luther Burden have picked up right where they left off last season. Burden only had 60 targets last year but his 2.69 yards per route run were only behind Puka Nacua and JSN. Loveland was 3rd in YPC (12.3) and 2nd in yards per route run (1.86) among TEs. Both look to have expanded their route tree and to be even more comfortable in the offense this year. Moving around a lot in motions and shifts. I see a BIG year coming for both.📈 📈 #DaBears #Bears #ChicagoBears

Bears Camp Day 4 Updates: 🔹Defense stole the day — Coby Bryant & Jaylon Johnson were standouts, Bryant picked off Caleb Williams and nearly added two more 🔹Caleb wasn’t sharp — struggled with timing/accuracy, couldn’t sync with Luther Burden 🔹Jedrick Wills Jr. got the bulk of snaps at LT1, Braxton Jones behind him 🔹Tyson Bagent found Zavion Thomas for a TD in the two-minute drill; starting O struggled in hurry-up (3-and-out) 🔹Kyle Monangai remains the notable absence Sources: @kfishbain...

3 takeaways from the Bears mini camp: ▪️ The offense is operating much smoother The operation looks far ahead of where it was last year. Caleb Williams looks more comfortable and in command with the motions, shifts, checks, and communication at the line. It’s still June, but this offense looks cleaner and that should open up more of Ben Johnson’s playbook. ▪️ Special teams had a positive week The return game has juice. Kalif Raymond and Zavion Thomas both looked explosive and natural catching...
