Highest explosive rush rates this season: 1. Kenneth Walker (makes sense) 2. James Cook (yup for sure) 3. Ollie Gordon (hell yeah brother)NegativeDepth ChartOct 8, 2026
Three lower-owned nice fantasy handcuff bench stashes: -Emmett Johnson (17% ESPN, 26% Yahoo): Got released a bit with KC on bye. RB4 in tackles avoided per carry this season! Kareem Hunt being a free agent isn't ideal, but Johnson has played really well + KC offense has been great. Kenneth Walker isn't the least injury prone RB we've ever seen -Ray Davis (5% ESPN, 7% Yahoo): It's never made sense to me why Ray is so widely available relative to other handcuffs. Have you scored 22.8+ PPR points in a game this season? Alvin Kamara: Yes Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Chase Brown, James Cook: No [Retweeted](PositiveNewsSep 28, 2026

That said: Do worry that Ty Johnson would turn things closer to a 50/50 situation if Cook missed time in 2026 considering the shift we saw last season: 2024: -Ray Davis: 113 carries, 19 targets -Ty Johnson: 41 carries, 25 targets 2025: -Ray Davis: 58 carries, 13 targets -Ty Johnson: 50 carries, 33 targets Also Johnson somehow had 6 carrie...PositiveDepth ChartJul 12, 2026
"Omarion Hampton is the starter, and it'd make sense if Keaton Mitchell gets like 8 touches per game. The Mike McDaniel "wanted" posters storyline, ya know? Still, I can't help but wonder if Kimani Vidal is ACTUALLY the fantasy handcuff who would take on most of the work if Hampton got hurt. Kinda like the Ray Davis - Ty Johnson dynamic in Buffalo behind James Cook. Make sense?" Steak 'n Shake cashier: Sir please leave.
