Another one by @DanGrazianoESPN on MarShawn Lloyd: 1st crack at starting RB job (as expected) Positivity from the staff Jacobs may/may not be back this year Team could be transitioning away from Jacobs after the season anyway, esp if Lloyd impresses/stays healthy
Jakobi Meyers has been falling all summer - now in the 120s vs the 80s he started at Limited practice - he’s probably going to be fine for Week 1
This is the reminder that Puka Nacua and Rashod Bateman’s matters are still under review by the NFL Doesn’t mean anything happens, but there is the risk that it does (case is not closed)

Another one by @DanGrazianoESPN on Josh Downs: As stated earlier in the offseason - without much practice it will be tough for Alec Pierce to morph into a different player this season Sounds like an expanded route tree for Josh Downs and is on track for Week 1 One of Warren or Downs will be a value

Something to keep an eye on as drafts are ongoing Schefter said that Puka Nacua and Rashod Bateman’s cases are not closed yet Severity is unknown but first round picks with suspension risks are tough to swallow

On Rico Dowdle and Jaylen Warren split via @DanGrazianoESPN: Closely aligns with what we heard in early July Also aligns with sources I’ve talked to I’ve been taking Rico Dowdle over Jaylen Warren in redraft leagues but think it’s close

Lamar Jackson = has a lot of leverage and will use it unless it’s a godfather offer Parker Washington wants a deal and the team wants to do it - nothing imminent but seems like it could get done Seems like Michael Wilson & CJ Stroud are a bit further off and want a gamble

Incredible recovery - hoping you have taken George Kittle in your drafts given the consistent drumbeat around his recovery
I could be getting duped by Dan Campbell but I believe him at face value that he is fine with Jacob Saylors and crew via @davebirkett
We’re close enough to Week 1 for the Patriots so it’s worth monitoring practice reports for injuries TreVeyon Henderson is not practicing with a minor low-right ankle injury, but it’s supposed to be precautionary Still goes about a round or so too high for me Via @cpriceglobe
Also, this might be a bit over the top, but directionally I think every beat has said something close to- that Isaiah Likely is the top target at practices, joint practices, etc (w/ Nabers out) Median projections don’t get there across the industry, but it’s hard to find top 2 target earning TEs that are on the upswing in their careers I’m still buying Likely
Giants RB2+ still seems pretty hazy - analysts don’t know who will be active between Najee Harris, Tyrone Tracy, and Devin Singletary for WK1 via @Schmeelk & @MattCitak on Big Blue Kickoff Live

On Kenyon Sadiq: Seems like he’s going to be ready for Week 1 There are many reasons why I’m not too interested but now his ADP is so cheap that I’m back in It may be rough to start (playing time, etc) but draft capital + athleticism + cost makes it a fine bet via @nyjets
On Breece Hall: “Expected to see the lion’s share of action” There’s been a lot of chatter about a 3-headed backfield but the contract and talent signal + other hints make me believe he’s the best RB to take when you start WR-WR out of the 3-5 slots in drafts I’m probably in the minority that believes this offense will be more functional than people think - closer to league avg than bottom of the barrel Via @nyjets
Jacob Saylors RB2 until the Lions add someone I don’t know if anyone is interested in my prospective list of RB options.. Trade for: Tyrone Tracy (Kafka) Devin Singletary (Kafka) Sign: Michael Carter (off practice squad so has to be on 53 man roster - Petzing) D’Ernest Johnson (Petzing) DeeJay Dallas (Petzing) Eric Gray (Kafka) Jaydon Blue (Choice - also has to be 53 man roster) Kareem Hunt (had a visit with the team already) Then the RBs with no relationship to the staff of course

Isiah Pacheco IR 5RBs was the clue
Last year Tyler Higbee started as the team’s primary inline TE, but got hurt and didn’t rebound when he came back, which opened the door for Colby Parkinson Unsure if being a captain means anything for playing time, but there was previous reporting that Tyler Higbee was lining up with the 1st team That said, the inline TE role is probably not going to be valuable (esp if split), so I’m not drafting any of them This is not about Terrance Ferguson via @thebenroyer

Unsure if Kyle Monangai is available Week 1 It was a good sign he wasn't put on IR-R, but the team still has the ability to do that and bring Salvon Ahmed up from the practice squad Roschon Johnson might be an interesting player to watch/get ahead of on waivers in case Monangai's knee injury lingers I think this will just be wheels up for D'Andre Swift (he's also in contract year if you value that), but being one-injury away to fantasy relevancy in a top rushing offense is intriguing in deepe...

On Malik Davis per @clarencehilljr: "..primary backup to starter Javonte Williams" Again, this is just another data point from someone close to the team that Malik Davis is the RB2 and worth taking shots on as a handcuff in a top offense
