More power-based than athletic despite testing; played roughly 50/50 stand-up and hand-in-dirt snaps as senior; often moved inside on pass rush situations. Shows enough pass rush moves but doesn't string them together. Good swipe/chop attacking outside with adequate dip and contact balance turning corner; good change of direction for size but not particularly bendy. High pad level limits anchor against run; can get lost in traffic but uses length/leverage, solid tackler, stays with plays for hustle and backside tackles. At best can be handful with athleticism and power; can also disappear in games. Cleaning up upright pad level and developing pass rush plan are solvable with coaching. The source views Bailey as better prospect than recent Rams edge camp bodies, competing against veterans Tomon Fox and Keir Thomas for a practice squad spot.
