Magee won't be on the field for even 50 percent of defensive snaps but can be a really nice run-stopping piece in the middle of the defense, effective in a Bobby Wagner-like role on short-yardage or run downs where he can blow up blockers and get to the ball-carrier.

Magee is part of the Commanders' linebacker corps that may be uniquely set up to handle the Falcons' physical, heavy-personnel offensive scheme that demands lateral agility and strength against the run game.
