Chris Hilton Jr, whose ranking drew the most controversy in the preview, was waived by the Commanders and claimed by the Packers when Washington signed G Max Scharping, C Daniel Brunskill, and T Nicholas Petit-Frere. His hype journey has started a new chapter in Green Bay, where he has recorded his first and only preseason special teams snap. He appears to be the only former Mason/Brennan hopeful to sign with another team after being released by the Commanders.

Hilton's college production was limited by injuries and inconsistent opportunity. Over five years at LSU, he had 41 receptions for 780 yards and six touchdowns in his SEC career, but only registered 10 receptions for 122 yards as a redshirt senior when the Tigers' passing game struggled after QB Garrett Nussmeier injured his abs. Brugler noted Hilton was up and down with his hands—his success rate nosedived when defenders crowded his air space—and a limited snap count hindered his route-running development.

Career production at LSU: 41 receptions for 780 yards and six touchdowns over five years; only 10 receptions for 122 yards as a redshirt senior. Limited production was driven by LSU's passing game struggles after quarterback Garrett Nussmeier injured his abs, which severely limited his play. Drafted 50th among receivers by The Athletic's Dane Brugler with a free agent grade. Started only seven games over five years; multiple injuries sidetracked early career (torn meniscus in 2021, shoulder surgery and torn meniscus in 2022, hairline fracture in 2024).

Combine measurements: 6'0"-flat, 188 pounds, 4.41-second 40-yard dash. Per RAS.football analysis: okay size for a WR and good speed; explosiveness is neither a strength nor a weakness, but poor agility drills are likely to show up when facing NFL cornerbacks. Limited snap count at LSU hindered his ability to develop as a route runner; he was up and down with his hands and his success rate nosedived when defenders crowded his air space.

Chris Hilton Jr., a 5th-year senior from LSU, posted a very good CROE (7.0%) in 2025 but that could be a blip due to small sample size. His 0.81 Y/RR receiving productivity in 160 offensive snaps was very poor, making it hard to draw meaningful conclusions. Hilton has good long speed and flashed ability as a deep threat in limited playing time, but his primary challenge to make the Commanders 53-man roster is staying healthy. He has suffered three major injuries and never played more than 160 offensive snaps in a season or topped 243 receiving yards in college. If he can overcome the injury bug, his potential is unclear.
