Windy City Gridiron on Tyson Bagent

Bagent's strong performance in dominant Bears win showcases scheme-driven offensive success.

Backup QB delivered a strong performance in the Bears' dominant 23-17 win over the Jets, where the Bears dominated on both sides of the ball and had more first downs than the Jets ran plays. The source credits Bagent's play alongside elite playcalling and an elite offensive line as key factors in the offensive dominance, though emphasizes that Ben Johnson's playcalling is doing this 'with a backup quarterback,' suggesting the offense's success is scheme-driven rather than QB-dependent.
