Yahoo Sports NFL on Baker Mayfield

Mayfield out with dislocated thumb; expected to miss at least three games.

Mayfield suffered a dislocated right thumb in Week 3 and is expected to miss at least three games, making him unavailable for Thursday night against Dallas. Through the first three games before injury, he had thrown for 615 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 63.5% of his passes, plus 65 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground—production that hadn't generated the offensive explosion Tampa expected.
