Mayfield out at least 3 games with dislocated thumb; misses Cowboys matchup

Dislocated right thumb in Week 3; expected to miss at least three games, ruling him out for Thursday's matchup against Dallas. Through first three games before injury: 615 passing yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs, 63.5% completion rate, plus 65 rushing yards and 1 TD. His absence removes an experienced veteran (100+ NFL games) from the Buccaneers' offense and forces Dallas to face a rookie QB instead.
