McNichols' 21-day practice window opened from IR; positive reinforcement for Commanders RB room.

Running back Jeremy McNichols has had his 21-day practice window opened to return from injured reserve with a designation to return after a quad injury. The source describes this as a positive development for the Commanders, who need reinforcements at the running back position. McNichols has a maximum 21-day window to work his way to activation; if not activated by the end of that period, he reverts to IR and is ineligible for the remainder of the season.
