Pierce promoted to Eagles active roster amid RB injuries to Barkley and Bigsby.

Pierce was signed to the Eagles active roster from the practice squad after the team's running back group was depleted by injuries; he had previously signed with the Eagles in March, was released at the end of summer, and returned to the practice squad. His career production includes four carries for 10 yards with the Chiefs and 10 carries for 26 yards in four games with the Texans last year, plus 415 carries for 1,674 yards and eight touchdowns over three prior seasons in Houston.
