Yahoo Sports NFL on Josh Downs

Downs is Colts' underneath option but can't replace Pierce's deep-threat role

Josh Downs is the Colts' underneath option and described as 'the twitchy man the Colts need underneath.' However, the source notes that while Downs fills a role in the short-to-intermediate game, no one can take the top off the defense in Pierce's absence, leaving the Colts' offense limited.
