Yahoo Fantasy Football on Tyler Allgeier

Love's ankle injury could elevate Allgeier into a bigger role in elite Detroit matchup.

Allgeier is playing in 2-minute drills as a clear change-of-pace rusher behind Jeremiah Love and had a 22-yard stiff-arm touchdown. He's hovered between 4.0 and 8.1 expected half PPR points in his last three games. Love picked up a new ankle injury to his "other ankle" early in the fourth quarter, which could set Allgeier up for a bigger workload in an amazing matchup against Detroit. Winks emphasizes he should be rostered right now.
