Yahoo Fantasy Football on Tony Pollard

Pollard is floorless against elite Texans run defense; Titans' weak offense limits ceiling.

Pollard is a floorless FLEX option limited to RB31 half PPR points per game on RB14 usage despite the Titans OL being better than expected. Last week's 21.8 expected points were a season high thanks to four goal-line opportunities. He's averaging only 2.0 receptions per game (RB29) with Tyjae Spears subbing in for passing situations. The Texans allow only 84 rush YPG (fourth best) and have a strong run defense. Tennessee has a 15.5-point team total, and in 12 games with the Titans scoring under 20 points, Pollard averages 7.6 half PPR points with a high of 12.0. Winks says the matchup "stinks out loud."
