Negative signalRole

Hurts lacks supporting cast depth from failed 2019-2020 draft classes.

Jalen Hurts was drafted in 2020 as part of a two-year span (2019-2020) where the Eagles made 16 total picks but only landed two meaningful contributors (Hurts and Miles Sanders); the other 13 picks were a waste, leaving the Eagles with a depleted roster that wasn't nearly as good as originally thought heading into 2026.
