Smith's completion rate climbs from 63% in Q1 to 85% in Q4; three of five TDs in fourth.

Smith's performance has shown a clear progression pattern through games: 63% completion in Q1, 68% in Q2, 75% in Q3, and 85% in Q4. Three of his five touchdown passes have come in the fourth quarter, with only one in the first half and none in the first quarter. This trend reflects the Jets' broader issue of slow starts across the three-game losing streak.
