Video: Everything Just Changed - Week 5
I benched Drake May literally. So two weeks a I mean last week right Drake May we are going into week three he had backto-back stinkers. Drake May looked like the worst quarterback in the NFL only ahead of Justin Herbert... I play him week three thinking like oh this is the bounceback right? I'm going to be rewarded for sticking with it, playing him in the third week. Unbelievably bad... And then he comes out and does this. He still had some really dumb plays. He still had some really bad moments, but you had the rushing. He threw some absolute dots. And now all of a sudden I'm right back to thinking like Drake May is probably playable in good matchups

Volatile QB; playable in good matchups after week 4 bounce-back

Drake Maye has shown extreme volatility: benched after back-to-back stinkers in weeks 1–2 (looked like worst QB in NFL ahead of Justin Herbert), played in week 3 and was unbelievably bad, but bounced back with rushing production and accurate throws. Now viewed as playable in good matchups only, with some really dumb plays and bad moments still present.
