Jones' 9.1 PPG and 1-for-5 on 20+ yard throws limit him to bye-week fill-in.

Jones, who was a candidate as a possible matchup-based QB1 in 12-team leagues or starter in superflex formats, is scoring just 9.1 fantasy PPG, down significantly from 17.4 in 2025. His movement traits and rushing totals are limited due to recovery from his Achilles injury suffered last season. Without Alec Pierce (IR/heel), the Colts are missing vertical element in the pass game, which squeezes the field. Through four games, Jones is averaging 188.5 passing yards per game and is 1-for-5 on throws of 20+ air yards. He has rushed for one score while averaging just 5.3 yards per game on the ground, with three touchdown passes against four interceptions. Pierce is eligible to return from IR in Week 7, which would provide a lift, but the source does not see enough for Jones to be played as anything more than a bye-week fill-in in deeper superflex formats.
