Pats Pulpit on Brock Bowers

Bowers' elite skill set poses a huge challenge for Patriots despite their recent TE defense.

Week 5 matchup against Patriots defense presents a significant challenge despite New England's recent success against elite tight ends. Bowers posted 5 catches for 103 yards in last year's Week 1 matchup while playing just half of the Raiders' offensive snaps. The Patriots held Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (who led all tight ends in receiving yards entering the week) to just one catch for seven yards in Week 4, but Bowers' elite skill set and high volume make him a different threat. Head coach Mike Vrabel acknowledged the challenge: "Brock is as elite as they come at that position. So, we'll have a huge challenge."
