Daniel Jones, I'm sorry to report, is cooked. Overcooked even... Jones completed just 12 of 22 passes, and only two of those completions traveled more than nine air yards downfield... 19-of-34 (55.9%) for 143 yards (average 4.2 yards per completion, no touchdowns, an interception, two sacks, and an average depth of target of just 5.2 yards.

Jones' post-Achilles return has been ineffective; season ADOT of 6.2 ranks third-worst among qualified QBs.
Jones is cooked after tearing his Achilles and returning too quickly; he's lost his mobility, which was central to his game. In Week 4 against Washington, he completed 19-of-34 (55.9%) for 143 yards, 4.2 yards per completion, no touchdowns, one interception, two sacks, and 5.2 average depth of target. His season ADOT is just 6.2, tied for third-lowest among qualified starters (only Cooper Rush at 5.5 and Case Keenum at 6.1 are lower). He can no longer evade pressure or execute bootlegs effectively, and the Colts' receiving options are depleted with Alec Pierce on injured reserve.
